Suppliers:
- Plan raw material/component requirements based on demand
- Issue Raw Material / Component forecasts to suppliers weekly, monthly and yearly
- Ensure on time in full deliveries of raw materials
- Track all shipments to ensure on time ETA's
- Administer supplier purchase orders including prices
- Assist with supplier scorecards
Stores:
- Coordinate and monitor the receiving of Goods and raw materials into Fixed Stock Locations and dispatch of finished goods from finished goods location
- Maintain required inventory and finished goods stock levels
- Ensure the inventory control method of FIFO is adhered to
Quality Management System:
- Manage and implement the Logistics Quality Assurance systems.
- Notify the quality department of any quality non-conformances which may lead to Customer complaints
- Improve employee's awareness within the department of Quality Targets and Objectives
Issuing:
- Receive Stores Requisitions and coordinate issuing
- Assist with processing of rejects on system
- Assist with Production planning and Data control
Stock Takes:
- Co-Ordinate stock count based on Stock Take procedure
- Manage integrity of count
- Check stock condition during the count
- Investigate Variances
Finished Goods:
- Ensure maintenance of required finished good stock levels
- Follow up on any outstanding POD's
Continuous Improvement:
- Support simplification and standardization of processes to accelerate logistics and enhance efficiencies

Main purpose of role
In this role, you will play a pivotal role in leading and managing our WMS software implementation projects from inception to completion. You will be responsible for developing and executing project plans, facilitating communication and collaboration within the team, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and exceeding client expectations.
Project Management includes, but not limited to:
- Project Lead includes drafting and executing of project plans, facilitating project meetings, making sure deadlines are met and documenting all aspects of the specific project. Work closely together with our software partners, especially with regards to the testing of new development and managing current client requirements and expectations in terms of implementing the software and the utilisation thereof.
- Responsible for training the client's staff on WMS partner software with on-site or digital assistance & support during go-live of the project.
- Ensuring action dates/ deadlines are being made and manage the responsible parties accordingly.
- Plan and communicate client visits or training – communicate with Operational Manager in terms of the planning of new projects or continues improvement work for current clients.
- Keep Zoho, Planning sheets, Commercials, or any other packages, updated with project plans during active projects.
- Responsible to investigate current client solution(s) using our partners, with the purpose of understanding the active client current solution, relevant to the latest or better fit solution(s) available to current client.
- Project steps: Process Specification, UAT, Training and Go Live.
- Responsible for Client CIP together with the Client Champion.
- Assist in interacting with new clients.
- Be able to perform demonstrations of main partner software for potential clients.

The Operational Care Specialist is responsible for managing the coordination of shipments accurately and timely manner, meeting customer transit time requirements. The Operational Care Specialist is part of a team (Operational Care Centers) responsible for coordinating transport activities by executing the necessary bookings with our partners and gateways, generating the required documentation, and monitoring each shipment, including deviation handling. You liaise with our customer care specialists to ensure specific requirements are met. Securing buy rates, as well as capacity with qualified carriers/partners, and or via the KN gateways is critical. All activities are to be performed in compliance with rules and regulations governing air transport, industry, and product standards, KN standards and guidelines, and executed via KN operational systems.

- Ensure timely, precise handling of all air logistics operations, minimizing delays and meeting customer deliverables.
- Track shipments proactively, manage deviations, and maintain accurate visibility and financial data in KN systems.
