You will be from a computer science background with an emphasis on software development . The purpose of this position is to develop and implement Inventory plans that will enable the organization to meet Sales and Service objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities- Database Management : Ongoing maintenance of the Forecasting, Purchase Orders and Sales Planning database.
- Reporting : Extraction, generation, and analysis of daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly stock reports from the above database, to assess current stockholding, planned orders, sales history, and forecasting of future planned orders.

- Engage with distributors in stock receiving, stock holding, reworking of stock, and stock write-offs.
- Ongoing liaison with agents, to ensure effective forwarding, shipping, clearing, and delivery of stock shipments.
- S&OP: Drive and facilitate S&OP forum.
- NPI: Attend and contribute to NPI forum and collate all necessary information, to provide planning analysis to Quality, Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, and Finance teams.

Qualifications:

- Proven problem-solver with a track record of implementing efficient solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal and external collaboration.
- Tech-savvy with ERP, inventory software, and Excel (or similar).
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality in planning and execution.

- Develop and lead the annual strategic plan and budget for sales, margin, and inventory, ensuring full alignment with the business unit’s financial and growth objectives.
- Champion the evolution and execution of Integrated Business Planning (S&OP) to drive alignment across demand, supply, and financial planning, enhancing cross-functional decision-making and accountability.
- Drive a world-class demand forecasting capability, leveraging accurate demand signals and analytics to align forecasts with financial targets at product, category, and store levels.
- Design and optimise inventory strategies across the product portfolio and logistics network to ensure product availability, service level excellence, and optimal working capital utilisation.
- Ensure forward-looking capacity planning across Distribution Centres, including stockholding, throughput, and inbound/outbound flow to support business growth and avoid operational bottlenecks.
- Manage end-to-end new product introductions, ensuring seamless forecasting, sourcing, and post-launch execution to maximise speed-to-shelf and product availability.
- Collaborate with the Private Label team to define sourcing strategies that deliver margin improvement, secure reliable supply and support the business's brand ambitions.
- Lead supplier collaboration, commercial efficiency negotiations, and gain-share agreements to unlock value, reduce cost-to-serve, and drive incremental group profit from the supply chain.
