● CRM: You will be required to track all your progress regarding deals in our CRM system (currently Monday.Com);

● Team: As the requirement for additional staff resources arises, we expect you to provide insights into new hires

Day-to-Day Functions

● Call and message fresh leads and lapsed shippers, logging every touchpoint in the CRM.

● Gather full trip specs-commodity, lane, volume, equipment, and special loading or tracking needs—for precise quoting.

● Build lane rates from market intel and transporter quotes, send sharp proposals, and negotiate margins to win the load.

● Secure a compliant transporter, double-check licences and GIT cover, and issue a clear load confirmation to lock in capacity.

● Brief drivers on SOPs such as corner plates, straps, seals, and TAT rules, then activate live tracking for each trip.

● Monitor ETAs in real time, resolve route exceptions before they escalate, and keep shippers updated without being asked.

● Upsell new lanes, request referrals, and convert first-time shippers into loyal, recurring revenue.

● Update CRM/TMS and review BI dashboards for margin drift, carrier trends, and performance insights, then act on the data.

● Plan tomorrow’s prospecting targets and flag any overnight watch-loads before signing off.

Must-Have Experience

  • 2–5+ years in road transport (sales and/or operations): shipper sales, transport sales, or operator roles;.
  • Proven new-business prospecting and pipeline discipline (daily call targets, follow-ups, CRM hygiene).

  • Exposure to telematics/camera tracking and control-tower workflows;
  • Basic understanding of early-settlement and fuel value-adds for transporters

Salary: Above market + strong sales incentives

Further Studies: You will receive support for career growth with training and courses where possible

Growth Path & Rewards:

This role has a steep and responsibility curve. Top performers can build a team quickly:

● Coordinator → Senior Co-ordinator → Team Lead (Shipper/Carrier) → Sales Manager

● Competitive base + uncapped commission tied to GP and book growth.

● Clear targets, weekly coaching, and visibility via BI dashboards.
