Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe position involves overseeing franchise and driver performance, ensuring operational compliance, and reporting. Responsibilities include understanding operational levers, training and enforcing SOPs, contributing to SOP improvement, maintaining service levels, monitoring branch adherence to agreements and KPIs, managing weekly KPIs, conducting audits, and traveling as needed. Additionally, addressing key branch tracking metrics related to driver growth, performance, complaints, and customer satisfaction, and compiling weekly reports for feedback and action are essential tasks.
Desired Experience & Qualification- Completed Diploma or Degree in Logistics
- 5 years experience in a client-facing role in an operational environment or similar
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
- Training experience in an operational setting will be advantageous
- IT or tech savvy will be advantageous (Strong Excel skills)

My client, a transport and logistics company specialising in the movement of bulk, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), containerised and palletised goods, is seeking to employ a Transport Broker / Logistics Consultant with 2-4 years' experience in the transport industry and a relevant qualification.
The successful candidate will have to negotiate sales deals and rates with customers as well as suppliers, meet budget and margin targets while proactively communicating with suppliers to transport goods effectively and efficiently to customers. An in depth knowledge of the road transport industry is required, and an existing customer book would be beneficial.
Responsibilities:
- Building and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, including regular visits.
- Negotiating new contracts.
- Negotiate transport rates with clients and transporters.
- Manage volumes allocated to the company.
- Understand the running cost of a vehicle to determine CPK’s.
- Analyse commodity trends and adapt to market fluctuations.
- Keep track of the daily and monthly budgets.

Experience and Qualifications:

- In this role, you will be responsible to identifying and contacting prospective customers and suppliers.

Duties & ResponsibilitiesRequirements:
- 6+ years of SAP Materials Management (MM) Functional experience, including configuration;
- 3+ years of Sales and Distribution (SD) Functional experience, including configuration;
- 2+ years of experience driving SAP MM/SD Functional deliverables including managing SAP MM/SD projects (active examples of change management, implementing new SAP MM/SD functionality, SAP upgrades, etc.).

- Project manages/co-ordinates all tasks and the management/facilitation of IT support and continuous service delivery of the current SAP solution, by the outsourced service provider;
- Collaborate closely with the OneSAP MM Lead to deliver the OneSAP S4 programme outcomes from an MM perspective;
- Day-to-day interaction with various stakeholders including customers in the various business units and IT service providers, liaising with colleagues across all sections of the Global IM department;
- Maintain the customer service focus thus ensuring that the provisioning of services meets the needs of the business;
- Work effectively as a team member providing support, maintaining communication, and updating other team members and business on progress;
- Drive ongoing meetings with key business stakeholders to discuss status on enhancements, projects, and opportunities for improvements (i.e., weekly/monthly).
