The position of linehaul local driver has become available at Triton Express Linehaul in Johannesburg.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collecting and delivering cargo
- Daily pre trip inspection of vehicle
- Vehicle fault reporting – as and when required
- Ensuring care is taken when client's cargo is being loaded and off loaded from vehicle
- Ensuring that the addresses given for deliveries / collections are correct
- Ensuring that contact is always kept with depot
- Distributing and collecting of client's cargo
- Ensure that vehicles and trailers are always kept clean.
- Completion of daily collection, Pod's and delivery sheets.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Grade 12 minimum (Matric)
- A valid unendorsed code 14 driver's license
- Valid PDP
- 3 – 5 years relevant experience
- Strong literacy skills (read, write and speak)
- A good geographical knowledge of the Gauteng area
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work shifts
- Ability to work overtime and weekends, as and when required due to management's requirements.
- Reliable
