  • Be currently enrolled full-time for a Bachelor of Information Technology (Information Systems) or similar fields of study OR Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) with specialisation in Information Systems – or similar fields of study at a recognised South African university.
  • Be in your second, third, or fourth year of study.
  • Demonstrate academic excellence and commitment to your field of study with a minimum final overall academic average of 65%.

Required Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  1. Postgraduate qualification in Business Management / Leadership.
  2. Minimum 8 years’ experience in aeronautical information service delivery, with at least 5 years at management level.

Alternative Qualifications - Candidates without a postgraduate qualification may apply if they have:

  1. Air traffic control experience (aerodrome, approach, or area control).
  2. Formal leadership training or Management Development Program.
  3. Minimum 10 years’ experience in air traffic management operations, with at least 7 years at middle management level.

  • Demand Management within the SAP domain
  • Manage Customer Satisfaction
  • Expert knowledge and custodian of specific SAP and other applicable applications in the Order to Cash domain, including supporting utilities, related systems and cross module integration and support
  • Service Level Management – adherence to Service levels as agreed between IM and its stakeholders
  • Detail specification of technical enhancements or new developments on SAP
  • SAP Maintenance and development requests (exploration, business case, approval process, planning, design, configuration, testing and implementation)
  • Communication of SAP changes to users and training of users
  • Adherence to standards
  • Continuous Improvement drive and efficiency of SAP Support within ArcelorMittal South Africa
  • Population of a solution database to improve turnaround of maintenance and support logs
  • Interaction with 3 rd party suppliers and management of the quotation and approval process
  • Continuous exposure and participation in new technology introduction
  • Participation in Special Interest Groups and other local expert groups
Qualifications :
  • B-Degree / Higher National Diploma / B-Tech (NQF 7/10) in Information Technology or Computer Science
  • SAP Accreditaiton will be advantageous
Experience and Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the Sales and Dispatch Environment
  • Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the S AP ERP environment
  • SAP configuration and Implementation experience will be an advantage

Job Description : You will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of underground mine automation systems controlling and managing trackless mobile machinery, associated components, and technologies including autonomous navigation and wireless telecommunication. The System Technician role focuses on two main areas with opportunities for career growth and knowledge sharing: field control equipment and automation systems. The broader team includes TMM technicians focusing on onboard TMM automation, communication components, and third-party systems, which are essential for successful mining automation. This requires strong collaboration, teamwork, and knowledge sharing. Your responsibilities will include: Installing, configuring, repairing, inspecting, and commissioning hardware, software, and telecommunication system components of diverse technical nature. Maintaining tools and equipment for maintenance and service work. Upgrading automation systems with new hardware and software to keep them current. Planning preventative and corrective maintenance tasks on mine automation systems, including field instrumentation, communication infrastructure, software systems, and TMM onboard systems, in collaboration with TMM technicians. Conducting routine maintenance and services on mine automation systems. Reporting and documenting results after actions are completed. Guiding colleagues in service methods and tool usage. Collaborating with TMM technicians, field services, IT, and other engineering disciplines for fault finding and troubleshooting of mine automation systems. Qualifications : National diploma or NQF Level 6 equivalent in engineering studies, specializing in electrical, electronic, or mechatronics engineering. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent telecommunications network qualification (advantageous). Additional advantageous qualifications include: Trade certificate of competence in trades such as millwright (electromechanical), mechatronics technician, instrument mechanic, or auto electrician. Other requirements include: Valid EB/Code 08 driver's license. Willingness to perform standby and call-out duties and work shifts. Role-specific knowledge: Minimum 5 years of continuous work experience in engineering or mining industries. Practical experience in mine automation system maintenance and support, including systems like Newtrax/Optimine MDP, Automine, Deswik. Ops, Deswik. App. Knowledge and training in PLCs, SCADA, and process plant instrumentation/actuators, including measurement and control devices.
