To plan, manage and coordinate computer training in the e-Learning Centre. Teach learners individually or in small groups basic computer and digital technology skills. In addition, provides clerical and IT support to the Admin Department.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide one-on-one or small group instruction in basic computer literacy and digital technology skills, including:
Internet browsing and safety
Email and Skype setup and use
Internet search engines and research
Word processing and document management
Accessing audio-visual content
Facilitate face-to-face computer training for individuals or groups.
- Source online courses for learners and ensure they are relevant for the Club.
- Develop training modules aligned with ICDL standards to enhance learners' computer knowledge.

- Evaluate learner progress and deem them competent upon completing training programs.
- Assist learners with software and computer equipment usage.
- Identify online training courses and coach learners to complete their training programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of learner attendance and progress.
- Make regular contact with management to plan computer courses in line with their department needs.
- Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop customized training programs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.
- Draft content for Canteen TV screens including all key information and updates for employees.
- Maintain and update notice boards with relevant communication, ensure there's consistency between both Clubs.
- Assist employees with general queries and direct them to applicable channels.
- Assist with drafting communication and newsletter articles.
- Update the Club's organogram monthly.
- Prepare and distribute birthday vouchers to management.
- Prepare monthly Jarrison reports for department heads monthly.
- Update monthly Skills Development records on Symplexity and gather proof.
- Manage the process of issuing and returning books in the CCJ library.
- Assist with employee events and coordination.
- Provide general administrative support to the department.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS
- Advanced computer proficiency, especially with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet Explorer

Purpose of Role:
SPARK Schools intermediate phase blended learning facilitators drive student achievement by overseeing the culture and effectiveness of online learning, project-based learning, and independent student work time (centers) in our intermediate phase "flex" blended learning model. SPARK Schools intermediate phase blended learning facilitators work directly with students in whole class, small group, and individual settings.
Blended learning facilitators are integral to the SPARK Schools "culture" and our commitment to rigorous, engaging learning experiences for our scholars.
RequirementsResponsibilities:
- Create a positive student culture around online learning and independent work time and maintain high behavioural expectations for all students.
- Actively "coach" students on all computer programs and ensure that the educational software used in the lab effectively meets the needs of students.
- Create and submit lesson plans for project-based learning, in collaboration with intermediate phase teachers
- Communicate and collaborate with teachers and school administrators to create individualized learning plans for students.
- Use SPARK culture and behaviour management strategies.
- Incorporate SPARK SEL (Social Emotional Learning) curriculum with scholars.
- Ensure all educational resources and assets are used responsibly and effectively.
- Report all damages to hardware to the School Operations Manager and fill out relevant incident reports if needed.
- Optimize timetables to ensure learning time is managed well.
- Participate actively in staff development opportunities as a member of the SPARK Schools team.
- Conduct self in a professional manner at all SPARK Schools events and to all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- English language fluency.
- Police clearance certificate.
- Grade 12 Certificate.
- Studying part-time towards a B.Ed. or PGCE in the Intermediate or Senior Phase (3rd or 4th Year), with a view to becoming a qualified teacher.
- Provisional SACE registration
Experience:
- Previous experience managing or working with primary school-aged children.
- Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new technology.

Key Responsibilities:
· Establish and maintain professional relationships with necessary stakeholders within operations.
· Identify Learning and Development needs through consultation with senior management.
· Facilitate learning through scheduled Learning and Development interventions
· Execute reporting, administration and document control
· Provide a consultation and advisory service to management when needed
· Represent Learning and Development within the divisional forums and keep stakeholders up-to-date regarding relevant matters
· Manage costs in line with Learning and Development cost framework
Key Requirements:
· Knowledge of adult learning principles
· Knowledge of South African learning and development legislation
· Facilitation experience of at least 3 years
· Retail experience will be an advantage
· Learning and Development or HR qualification
· Good planning, interpersonal and analytical skills
· Presentation and Facilitation Skills
· Effective writing and speaking skills in English and another official SA language
· Must have a code 08 driving license and be willing to travel
