• To ensure that all contract-based staff are on duty as per contract requirements.

• To ensure that contracts have the necessary chemicals and working equipment as per contract requirements.
• To order chemicals for the site on time and in line with budgets.
• To conduct regular cleaning inspections and to document inspections and ensure any adverse findings are immediately fixed to standard and report to the Manager.
• Must be visible on-site throughout the shift and not confined to the office
• To ensure all on-site Health and Safety protocols are in place and adhered too.
• To build a good working relationship with clients on-site
• To manage staff on site and where necessary mentor, train and discipline in line with company policies.
• To ensure the Company's reputation is held in the highest regard on sites and in the industry.

Minimum Requirements

• More that 2 years of cleaning supervisory experience
• Experience in the cleaning industry in a similar position
• Be able to operate cleaning machinery & signage
• Be able to communicate in English
• Experience with cleaning chemicals and cleaning equipment
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work under limited Supervision.
• Valid Drivers License

Performs tasks/activities associated with the driving of heavy vehicles and controlling truck

mounted crane, transporting personnel/materials, monitoring and correcting deviations.

Main responsibilities are:

• Driving and Operations: Operate and drive code 14 truck in a safe and efficient manner, following all traffic laws and company policies.
• Load Securement: Load, unload, and properly secure all cargo. This includes using straps, chains, and tarps to prevent shifting or damage during transit.
• Vehicle Inspection: Perform thorough pre-trip, post-trip, and ongoing inspections of the truck and trailer to identify and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns.
• Route Planning: Plan and follow safe and efficient routes to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Paperwork and Record-keeping: Complete all required paperwork accurately, including delivery logs, mileage, fuel usage, and payment or invoice processing.
• Cargo Integrity: Ensure the quality and integrity of the transported goods are maintained throughout the journey.
• Communication: Maintain clear communication with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, and delivery status.
• Customer Interaction: Handle customer inquiries, collect payments, and process necessary documents upon delivery

Qualifications and Experience

• Valid Code 14 - PrDP

• 3–5 years’ experience in long-distance or local truck/commercial driving.

• Experience with heavy-duty trucks, trailers, or commercial delivery vehicles.

• Clean driving record and excellent safety awareness.

• 18 years old for a Code 10 license (medium trucks)

• 21 years old for a Code 14 license (heavy trucks and trailers

• Driving School : Enroll in a certified driving school that offers truck driver training. This prepares you for both the theory and practical tests.

• Medical Certificate : A valid medical certificate from a registered practitioner is required to confirm you’re fit to drive heavy vehicles.

• Professional Driving Permit (PDP) : Mandatory for all commercial drivers. You must apply for a PDP at a DLTC and pass a criminal background check

• Working hours can be long and irregular, especially for long-haul routes.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Truck Driver located in the City of Johannesburg. The Truck Driver will be responsible for operating and driving trucks, following DOT regulations, loading and unloading goods, and ensuring timely deliveries. Day-to-day tasks also include conducting vehicle inspections, maintaining logbooks, and communicating with dispatchers and customers.

• Responsible for the vehicle – safe handling/operating of the vehicle.
• Day-to-day inspection of the vehicle and reporting of all faults and serious mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.

• Checking the truck list and following the route to the destination.
• Checking the truck and load before going out on the road.
• Ensuring safety regulations are being adhered to whilst driving.

• Comply with 5S standards to ensure cleanliness, safety, and an orderly workplace.

• Must have 5 years of experience within the industry working as a Driver.
• Must have a valid code 10 0r 14 driver's licenses.
• A valid PDP is required.
• An RSA ID is required.

• Must be flexible, punctual, and reliable.
• Must have good communication and interpersonal skills.
