Job Description:
As a Video Editor, you’ll be responsible for turning raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with our creative goals and brand voice. You’ll work closely with producers, creatives, and marketing team members to deliver high-quality edits across multiple platforms. Key Responsibilities:

- Hands-on experience with video editing software, specifically Final Cut Pro X, Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Ability to edit and perform tasks quickly and efficiently, including sound effects, music, graphics, captions, and special effects
- Experience with After Effects for graphic titles and animated text
- Flexibility and adaptability when faced with various tasks
- Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities

Technical Requirements
- Basic video camera operator and on-set skills (experience with Sony cameras is a bonus)
- Ability to extract a powerful story from a long-format interview.
- Creative and artistic skills with ability to translate concepts into finished projects
- Portfolio showcasing previous work demonstrating capabilities as a video editor
- Ability to use Mac OS

Position Details
Contract Length: 6 months with opportunity for extension
Start Date: 1 November 2025
Job Type: Full-time 08:00 to 17:00
Location: Applicants must be based in Johannesburg, South Africa
Work Arrangement: Mix between in-office and work from home.
