The Role:
The Digital Content & Social Media Strategist is responsible for driving brand visibility, engagement, and community growth through impactful social media content and visual storytelling. This role manages organic social media channels, creating, scheduling, and optimizing content across platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, while ensuring all visual assets align with brand standards.
They repurpose long-form content into digestible, engaging formats, support basic video editing, and collaborate with SEO and marketing teams to ensure consistency and performance. The responsibilities of this role include:
Organic Social Media Management- Develop and manage a monthly content calendar for platforms such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Write and schedule engaging organic posts, tailored to each platform’s format and best practices (carousels, videos, image posts, and text updates).
- Monitor social channels daily, responding to comments, mentions, and messages while maintaining a consistent brand voice.
- Track content performance (engagement, reach, saves, shares) to inform future content strategies.
- Create visually appealing assets for social posts, blogs, emails, infographics, and other collateral.
- Ensure all graphics follow brand guidelines including colours, typography, and visual tone.
