Young Engineers Instructor Responsibilities:

1. Class Facilitation: Attend scheduled classes to present and teach the prepared lessons effectively.

2. Student Engagement: Ensure that children are actively engaged, enjoying, and participating fully in each lesson.

3. Parent Communication: Maintain open and timely communication with guardians, providing regular updates on student progress.

4. Lesson Planning: Develop engaging challenges, games, and lesson flows to enhance the learning experience.

5. Feedback Reporting: Provide detailed feedback to the facilitator regarding class performance and dynamics.

6. End-of-Term Reporting: Prepare and submit comprehensive end-of-term reports for parents, detailing student achievements.

7. Event Participation: Lead and participate in holiday camps, birthday events, and other out-of-class activities organized by the team.

8. Adherence to School Guidelines: Follow the principles, rules, and codes of conduct of the respective schools where lessons are conducted.

Role Description

We are looking for university students who'd like to teach coding to kids. This is a part time, on-site role for an Instructor located in the City of Johannesburg. We offer coding courses every weekday from 14:00 to 18:00, and on Saturday morning from 9:00 to 14:00. We also offer holiday camps during school holidays. The Instructor will be responsible for teaching coding and digital education to children and teens using our unique education platform and teaching method. Day-to-day tasks include preparing and conducting lessons, assessing student progress, and providing a fun and inspiring learning environment. Additionally, the Instructor will support students in their learning journey and adapt teaching methods to cater to different age groups and knowledge levels.

Job Title : Driving Instructor

Reporting to : Regional Operations Manager: Fidelity ADT

Overall, Purpose of the Job

The overall purpose of this position is to facilitate, assess and present driver training interventions (classroom based, as well as in-car assessments) with all Fidelity ADT drivers and to ensure compliance with best practices, quality assurance standards and Industry requirements as per impacting legislation.

The required work area will also include regional branch visits and the working of irregular hours (including nightshift & Weekends from time to time).

Minimum Qualifications

• K53 driving instructor certification and/or valid driving instructors' certificate from the Provincial Traffic Training College or MasterDrive Institution.
• Grade 12 / NQF 4
• PSIRA Grades E-B
• Assessor registration with ETDP SETA & SASSETA
• Ability to communicate well in English
• Clear Criminal Record

Experience Required

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a K53 driving Instructor within a similar or same industry.
