Overview
Inventory Clerk position at Clicks Montague Gardens DC within the Inventory department, responsible for administering stock movements and stock adjustments to ensure physical stock balances with the system, meeting customer and scorecard requirements.
Responsibilities- Coordinate and maintain stock movement and balances in the section to ensure accuracy of stock.
- Accept joint responsibility for scratches and adjustments to minimize shrinkage.
- Audit stock and processes as per sectional scorecard to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with internal partners to ensure smooth section operations and meet DC requirements.
- Investigate deviations between physical and system stock and rectify where necessary.
- Adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards, and internal policies to ensure compliance.
- Provide support to the picking team by ensuring required stock is in the slots to meet infill targets.
- Ensure investigations of high adjustments are completed within required time frame.
- Ensure receiving corrections are actioned accordingly.
- Action inventory reports daily and ensure DC-to-DC transfers are processed accordingly.
- Plan and adhere to the PERP and Wall to Wall stocktake schedule.
- Ensure daily slot maintenance and investigations of scratches.
- Report issues daily to the Supervisor and assist in finding solutions.
- Set clear expectations with subordinates and hold them accountable.
- Identify risks and discuss mitigation with Management.
- Verify accuracy and comprehensiveness of information received and action inventory reports daily.
- Monitor accurate stock counting by counters and investigate discrepancies.
- Collaborate with Risk Control Department on adjustments and provide recommendations.
- Liaise with inter-departmental teams and Head Office regarding queries/concerns.
- Conduct daily audits on received pallets and provide feedback to Receiving DPM.

Clicks Montague Gardens DC is on the hunt for an exceptional Inventory Clerks to support the Inventory department by administering stock movements and stock adjustments within a specific section to ensure that physical stock within the DC balances with stock on the system, thus ensuring accurate stockholding to meet customer and scorecard requirements.

Identify risks and discuss with the Management on how to eliminate the risks within the DC. To adhere to statutory health and safety requirements, housekeeping standards, and all other internal policies to ensure compliance. Verify accuracy and comprehensiveness of information received and ensure that all Inventory reports are actioned daily. Monitor accurate counting of stock by the counters and investigate discrepancies. Liaise with Risk Control Department on adjustments actioned and give recommendations. Liaise with inter departmental and Head office regarding queries/concerns. Ensuring that daily audits are done on received pallets in receiving and that feedback is given to the Receiving DPM immediately. Adhere to systems and procedures to minimize shrinkage. To effectively investigate and monitorslot accuracy, ensuring that we are within the required targets.

Responsibilities:- Accountable for resolving non-trade stock queries with relevant stakeholders (Non-Trade Payables, Procurement, RED, Gift Card, Head Office Facilities such as Stationery, Dining Room, Hairdresser, ITS, and Special Occasions).
