• Generating quality sales opportunities for the Distribution channels.
• Achieve the minimum production norms & targets set.
• Quality outbound calls to clients to create quality sales opportunities.
• Adhere to the quality standards of the Sanlam Direct CCC.
• Record client information and requests on the Sentrix system.
• Handle and appropriately refer customer complaints and objections.

• Matric (or equivalent qualification)
• Minimum 3 years Call Centre experience.
• Call Centre experience (Outbound would be an advantage)
• Previous financial services experience will be advantageous.
• MS: Office (Excel, Word, PP, Outlook)
• Knowledge of Sentrix.

• Up to R13 000 per month plus commission.

This role is focused on candidates with long-term insurance experience with the objective of providing an end-to-end service and support to brokers.

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing telephonic support to the intermediary on record, authorised representatives from the brokerage, and Broker Services.
2. Dealing with general Agri Asset insurance and policy specific enquiries, and amendments.
3. Adhering to underwriting and regional criteria requirements.
4. Managing the expectation on expected turnaround times for already submitted requests.

Minimum Requirements

1. Grade 12 (Matric) with
   o Minimum 50% for Maths
   o Average score of 50% in all other subjects.
2. Relevant insurance qualification would be advantageous at NQF 5.
3. 2 years’ experience in short term insurance commercial lines and/or Agri Asset would be advantageous.
4. Experience in commercial and/or Agri Asset policy administration and underwriting.

• Standing in for Consultants should they be absent or on leave during busy periods or absence of key resources, assisting where required.

Qualifications:

• Matric/ Grade 12
• 60 commercial lines FAIS credits
• A relevant insurance related qualification (e.g. NQF lev 5)

Experience:

• Proven work experience in commercial, agriculture policy administration and underwriting within the short-term insurance industry
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in short term insurance commercial lines and/or Agri assets

Knowledge and Skills:

Claims Administration
Administer complete claims process according to defined claims procedures until claims are settled.
Apply policy terms and conditions.
Make assessment of claims validity and estimate value and administer mandated claims.
Act as intermediary between insurer and client and timeously relay communication, requests, and documentation.
Engage with insurers regarding recoveries, diarise follow-ups and keep clients informed.
Ensure productivity targets are met.
Contribute towards and ensure continuous improvement in own and team performance.
Adhere to company mandates.
Participate and contribute in ad hoc projects.
Report any suspected fraud, misrepresentation and/or dishonesty.
Keep accurate record of own activities.
