You as an Associate Inspection & Testing Engineer will be part of Hitachi Energy High Voltage business based in Modderfontein, South Africa. Job Duties and ResponsibilitIes

  • Assist the quality manager in developing, implementing, and maintaining food safety and quality programs at the facility to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, corporate standards, and customer expectations
  • Complete required quality record review such as laboratory documentation, CCP, PC and other documentation
  • Write, review, and implement quality assurance procedures
  • Recommend modifications or upgrades to testing procedures or equipment. Coordinate procurement of items required for the lab

Education and Experience

  • Certification and/or License – PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner certifications preferred; may be required during course of employment

    • Create reports on performance results (individual and team level) to provide to management for development and action plans for agents
    • Prepare and analyze quality reports for management review
    • Provide feedback and input into process, training, and system enhancements based on trends
    • If required, assist with coaching agents based on findings
    • If required, may answer phone calls, respond to written inquiries, and handle escalated issues in support of agent work
