Job Description
You will be required to execute the creation process for all vendor types (excluding bank validations, sundry, and marketing vendors), which involves releasing questionnaires and providing assistance to ensure completion.
More of your responsibilities will include:
- Administering the release of registrations and approving them for potential vendors invited to participate in tenders
- Collaborating with Treasury to review the accuracy of vendor banking details
- Validating the accuracy of vendor data, including data interfacing with other systems
- Developing and overseeing the vendor onboarding process, ensuring alignment of data
- Implementing and managing a comprehensive training program for all vendors, keeping them informed of updated work methodologies
- Facilitating the seamless integration of new online Master Data Management (MDM) forms into the system
- Maintaining vendor records, ensuring annual updates or as needed (e.g., BEE credentials, VAT, contact details)
- Conducting data clean up activities and identify as well as manage discrepancies in an efficient manner

Qualifications

Purpose of the position:
To provide oversight and technical support to THC data capturers through facility level supervision and support visits (e.g. visit a facility once every two months), capacity building and data quality assurance (e.g. apply data verification tool every second visit to a facility and leave facility with an action plan). To support the flow of facility level data for accurate and timeous weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reporting.
Minimum Requirements- NQF level 6 or equivalent qualification in data management or statistics, health, public health, social sciences, information technology, or related field will be an advantage
- At least 3 years' experience in data quality management, verification, conducting routine data quality assessments (RDQA) or data quality audits
- Experience in working on donor-funded projects is desirable
- Good understanding and experience in using one of the following NDoH information management systems (District Health Information System (DHIS), TIER.Net, Electronic Drug Resistance Register (EDRWEB), and/ Patient Record and Health Management Information System (PREHIMS) or Primary Health Care Information System (PHCIS), will be an added advantage
