About the Role:
We’re searching for a Junior–Mid level Industrial Design Engineer to join our in-house R&D team.
You’ll work in a collaborative space with direct access to 3D printers, prototyping tools, and a dedicated team of technicians who will help bring your designs to life.
You won’t be alone in this we’re building a product lab where everyone’s input matters. Whether you’re designing the next generation of One More Time power banks or iterating on jigs and fixtures for our production line, you’ll be hands-on and part of a creative, purpose-driven crew.
We’re excited about the projects we’re working on and we want to hear what you’re passionate about too.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design consumer products using Fusion 360 and prepare 3D-printable models.
- Collaborate with the production team to design fixtures, jigs, and tooling that make our builds smarter and smoother.
- Prepare and test files for 3D printing (mostly FDM, sometimes resin).
- Rapidly iterate prototypes based on feedback from the team and real-world use.
- Work alongside mechanical, electronics, and marketing teams to align design with reality.
- Contribute to the creative direction of new products and support R&D experimentation.
- Must-Have Skills:
- Proficient in Fusion 360 or similar CAD software.
- Comfortable with 3D printing and basic prototyping workflows.
- Understanding of tolerances , part fit , and design for manufacturing/assembly .
- Ability to design basic jigs, brackets, enclosures, or test rigs.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment .
- Bonus Skills:
- Experience working in a maker space or R&D environment.
- Familiarity with laser cutting, resin printing , or workshop tools.
- Knowledge of sustainable product design or materials.
- Portfolio of personal or side projects — we’d love to see what you’ve built just for fun.

Job Knowledge:
Furniture Design and Ergonomics. Understanding of the design principles behind comfort, support, and durability in furniture, especially recliners.
Knowledge of ergonomics to ensure that the products meet user comfort standards. Material Science and Upholstery.
In-depth knowledge of various materials used in furniture manufacturing (e.g., wood, metal, foam, fabric, leather).
Familiarity with the processes of upholstery and how materials contribute to both aesthetics and durability.
Proficiency in how recliner mechanisms (e.g., manual, electric) function and are integrated into designs.
Familiarity with structural engineering to ensure stability, safety, and reliability in the design of reclining furniture.
Expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) tools like Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar programs to create and modify prototype designs.
Knowledge of 3D modelling and rendering to communicate design concepts visually.
Prototype Development and Testing:
Experience with rapid prototyping techniques, such as 3D printing, CNC machining, and handcrafting.
