RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Provide PA support to the HR Manager & Assistant HR Manager, including diary management, correspondence, and general administrative tasks.

About The Role

We are looking for an experienced, full-time Talent Acquisition Partner to identify, engage with and hire A-player talent for HyperionDev as we scale our team. You will be responsible for the full recruitment cycle including developing and reviewing the hiring toolkit (job spec, outcomes, assessment) for each role, proactively identifying and sourcing prospects, screening and evaluating candidates, and managing the job offer process with selected candidates. You will work with internal stakeholders and build strong relationships with hiring managers as you train them on our hiring process, update them on progress, and guide them on hiring plans, job specifications and candidate evaluation. You will help develop the company-wide talent acquisition strategy in collaboration with the Talent and People Operations teams, support us in building our EVP and talent community, and contribute to employer brand promotion through social content and talent webinars. You will track hiring metrics to help make further improvements to our hiring process. As the main point of contact for applicants for several roles, you will ensure a positive candidate experience and you should have good knowledge of sourcing tools and techniques.

Responsibilities
  • Execute on the strategic recruitment plan in line with the company hiring process
  • Manage all stages in the hiring process, from sourcing to acceptance of offer letters and background checks
  • Identify and creatively source applicants including through online and offline methods
  • Advertise open roles on various channels including job boards, professional social networks and our careers page
  • Screen resumes and applications, and conduct initial screening calls based on essential criteria

Requirements
  • 2+ years recruiting experience in a digital / tech environment
  • 1+ years experience in an in-house talent acquisition
  • Experience in managing the full recruitment cycle including offer negotiations
  • Experience using social networks to source candidates and promote jobs (eg. LinkedIn, AngelList, Slack, job boards)
  • Experience managing various stakeholders and building relationships
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to juggle various open positions

Recruitment Process and Policy:

  • Own and drive talent sourcing, selecting and acquisition process, including building local talent sourcing pipelines aligned to the company's Talent Management and Employment Equity plans.
  • Assess current recruitment policies and processes to ensure compliance and minimize exposure to adverse outcomes.
  • Continuously improve and update recruitment templates and documentation.
  • Introduce key assessment tools and standardized interview techniques; train line managers on recruitment processes.

Recruitment Needs Analysis:

  • Work closely with relevant business heads to understand objectives and construct plans to improve recruitment performance.
  • Execute and create relevant talent sourcing pools to ensure a steady pipeline of talent.
  • Analyze the company's Talent Plans to assess internal versus external talent needs.
  • Anticipate future talent needs and advise on sourcing, selection, and acquisition tactics.

Sourcing, Attracting and Selecting:

  • Effectively use the recruitment management system.
  • Re-assess all current adverts and job specifications with the HRBP.
  • Provide a comprehensive recruitment and selection service to ensure Time to Fill is within company norms.
  • Fulfill multiple roles to ensure consistent levels of workforce talent.
  • Create and improve relevant workflows and manage sourcing platforms.
  • Communicate with external sources to ensure appropriate solutions for the business.

Brand Ambassador:

  • Enhance the company’s external brand through job portals, social media, and by attending/facilitating career fairs.
  • Partner with stakeholders to market the company as an attractive employer brand.
  • Drive word-of-mouth employer brand awareness.
  • Continuously update and maintain the website and online career portals.

Reporting:

  • Compile regular reports on recruitment and social media activities.
  • Report on recruitment trends in the retail industry.
  • Determine metrics to track the effectiveness of the recruitment function.
  • Conduct effective workforce forecasting and reporting as requested.
