Our client is looking for a refined and experienced Hospitality Manager to co-lead operations at a boutique luxury guest farm. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about exceptional service, aesthetics, and the guest experience.
Preference will be given to candidates where the Hospitality Manager is part of a couple, and the partner can take on the role of General Farm Manager to oversee the farming activities.
Responsibilities:
Oversee all aspects of guest services and hospitality operations
Curate bespoke guest experiences focused on relaxation and slow living
Manage bookings, guest communications, and front-of-house
Handle budgeting, stock control, HR, and supplier liaison
Collaborate with the farm team to deliver farm-to-table excellence
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years in luxury hospitality management
Excellent attention to detail and presentation
Strong administrative and financial management skills
Passion for food, wine, and customer delight

Job Description
Our client is seeking a skilled and experienced Farm Manager to oversee operations at a developing guest farm near Montagu. This role requires individuals with a passion for sustainable agriculture and a knack for high-end guest services. The farm blends eco-friendly agricultural practices with luxury guest accommodation, and the owners need capable professionals to manage daily operations to the highest standards.
Preference will be given to candidates where the Farm Manager is part of a couple, and the partner can take on the role of Hospitality Manager to oversee the guest experience.
Location: A secluded farm 25km outside Montagu
Accommodation: 2-Bedroom House (Electricity, Water, Internet, and DSTV included)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all farm operations, including orchards, gardens, vegetables, livestock, game, and maintenance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to staff, ensuring effective delegation and performance management.
- Develop and implement production plans to optimise yield and quality.
- Manage and execute crop production tasks such as irrigation, fertilisation, pest control, and harvesting.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards while prioritising cost-efficiency and guest satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate operational records and prepare farming division reports.
- Assist in fostering a guest-friendly environment in line with the farm’s high standards.
Experience Required:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in stone fruit or similar agricultural operations.
- Experience in guest farm management is advantageous.

- Fluent in English and Afrikaans.
- Strong work ethic, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven management and leadership capabilities.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to enforce discipline.

- Prepare and oversee budgets.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-effective measures.
