Together the property will have 3 restaurants and bar outlets, all of them highly programmed.

Job Description

Represents the business in the marketplace and with the Sales Manager, is the principal liaison and point of contact between the Operations and the 3rd Party Distributors (OTA’s, STO’s, Wholesalers, PCO’s, Travel Agents).

The Sales Executive takes responsibility for positioning the business and its services and offerings in the marketplace with the intention of maximizing occupancy at the highest possible rate.

This role works closely with the relevant Department Teams to ensure a coordinated effort between Sales, Reservations, and Operations to conduct comprehensive site surveys in the organization’s properties.

The role also ensures that 3rd Party Distributors, Consortia, OTA’s, and PCA’s receive timely deliveries of up-to-date Service, Rate, and Promotional/Campaign information for inclusion in their online and paper marketing materials.

The Sales Executive may, with the Sales Manager, attend trade shows and events to promote and sell the hotel and its services.

Qualifications
  • Degree or equivalent in Hospitality Management / Financial Management
  • Extensive background in Sales and Marketing
  • 3 years of experience in the Sales operations of a luxury hotel
  • Ability to effectively communicate with others in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficient user of OPERA
  • Proficient in the application of Up-Sell and Cross-Sell strategies
  • Proficient in collecting market data for analysis and creation of Market Studies
  • Ability to anticipate future circumstances, conditions, and requests and use these scenarios to plan for the future
  • Proficient in the application of financial good practice
  • Proficient in the management of the various booking channels
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office software applications
