Position Summary
We are seeking a dedicated, qualified, and faith-driven High School Teacher to join our Christian learning community. The ideal candidate will teach one or more subjects aligned to the CAPS curriculum while nurturing learners in a Christ-centred environment that promotes academic excellence, character development, and spiritual growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching & Learning
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons based on the CAPS curriculum for Grades 8–12.
- Develop lesson plans, learning materials, and assessments in accordance with the subject's annual teaching plan (ATP).
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
- Integrate Biblical principles and Christian values into teaching where appropriate.
Assessment & Record Keeping
- Conduct continuous and formal assessments, including SBA (School-Based Assessment) tasks, tests, and examinations as per CAPS requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of learner attendance, marks, and progress.
- Provide timely feedback to learners and parents, and compile term reports.
Christian Ethos & Spiritual Guidance
- Serve as a Christian role model in speech, conduct, and lifestyle.
- Participate in devotions, prayer, and spiritual mentorship activities.
- Support the school's Christian mission by guiding students in Christian character development and Biblical worldview.
Collaboration & Professionalism
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, subject heads, and school management.
- Attend staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Maintain professional ethics and uphold the values of the Christian school community.

- A strong personal relationship with Christ and a commitment to Christian education.
- Excellent classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
