2.2 Risk Management

- Identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions to eliminate or minimize risks.
2.3 Training and Awareness
- Conduct HSE induction training for all employees and visitors entering the site.
- Arrange and monitor job-specific and refresher training (e.g. working at heights, fire fighting, first aid).
- Promote safety awareness through toolbox talks, safety campaigns, and signage.

2.4 Incident and Accident Management
- Report, record, and investigate all incidents, near misses, and injuries.
- Compile incident investigation reports and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain an updated Incident Register and ensure lessons learned are communicated.
2.5 Inspections and Audits
- Conduct daily site safety inspections and submit reports to the Site Manager.
- Participate in internal and external audits by the Principal Contractor or Client.
- Ensure corrective actions from inspections and audits are closed out promptly.

2.6 Emergency Preparedness
- Maintain the site Emergency Response Plan.
- Conduct regular emergency drills (e.g. fire, evacuation, medical).
- Ensure that emergency equipment (fire extinguishers, first aid kits) is inspected and serviceable.

2.7 Health and Environmental Responsibilities
- Monitor occupational health aspects such as noise, dust, heat stress, and ergonomics.
- Ensure employees undergo medical surveillance as required.
- Promote environmental protection, waste management, and pollution control.

2.8 Reporting and Documentation
- Maintain all HSE records, including:
o Daily site inspection checklists
o Toolbox talk records
o Training registers
o Risk assessments and method statements
o Incident investigation reports
- Compile and submit weekly and monthly HSE reports to management and the client.

- Ensure First Aider training room is conducted and when required liaise with HR to ensure refresher training when required or new training as and when First Aiders leave and are replaced
Environmental
l Ensure compliance with relevant environmental requirements that are relevant to company operations, aligned to the ISO 14001 standard
