Required Experience
- Extensive consulting experience and a proven track record of success with a top management consulting firm: specializing in delivering strategic solutions within the healthcare industry.
- Demonstrable experience leading engagements focused on: short and long-term enterprise-level strategic planning, growth strategy, M&A/strategic partnerships& alliances, margin expansion, cost strategy etc. within healthcare provider organizations.
- Expert-level knowledge of the healthcare provider industry: including experience working with diverse provider organizations such as Hospital Systems, Academic Medical Centers, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Integrated Delivery Networks, Physician Practices/Groups, etc.
- Conceptual, Strategic and Problem-Solving Skills: Able to integrate diverse information, apply flexible global concepts and think strategically using large scale data and analytics. Strong quantitative and business analysis acumen. Effective in making high quality decisions and taking decisive action.
- Exceptional Engagement Delivery: Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, generate clear work plans, and lead junior employees. Successfully execute across multiple projects while delivery quality product to the client.
- Communication Skills: Exceptionally strong communicator equally adept at communications strategy and execution, with the ability to craft a full range of crystal clear, high-impact communications (e.g., proposals, presentations, workshops). Particularly skilled at coaching teams on how to visualize complex information and insights. Able to communicate in an open and authentic manner in all situations.

Description
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying and creating new qualified opportunities for the sales team. This role manages outbound campaigns and inbound lead flow within their territory by qualifying and identifying critical decision makers to successfully position the Cobalt value proposition. The BDR will be an expert in our PtasS (Pentest as a Service) offering as you are most often the first impression our customers will receive. BDRs who establish high performance and embody our core values will have opportunities for career advancement within sales.
This role will require candidates to be located in either the PST or MST time zone as they will be working a West Coast territory.
What You'll Do
- High volume prospecting and lead qualification through outbound phone calls, emails and other channels
- Creative and personalized outbound prospecting within your target accounts
- Leveraging tools including SalesForce, SalesLoft, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and others to research and connect with potential customers
- Achieving and exceeding weekly/monthly metrics
- Gain business knowledge through researching potential pain points, decision making structures and every day business challenges of our target prospects
- This is an individual contributor role that reports to a Business Development Manager who values continuous improvement through weekly one-on-one’s as well as providing you with the autonomy to allow you to steer your own success
- Close alignment with Account Executives on pipeline organization and ongoing prospecting and nurture strategies
- Regular team huddles to celebrate wins and share goals

Cobalt is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The base salary range for this role is $40,656 - $0,984 per year + equity + benefits. A candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. - At least 5 years of management experience with full accountability for business profitability, budget ownership, and delivering measurable financial performance
- Proven experience in presenting solutions to clients from presentation to delivery on projects (full cycle)
- Proven track record in providing high volume sales solutions successfully
- Proven success in growing and managing major accounts
- Proven track record of new business and growing current business
- Good knowledge on the Labour Relations Act (LRA) and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
- Financial acumen (essential)
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A valid drivers’ license with own reliable vehicle (essential)
- Responsiblefor facilitation of strategic sales and operational planning and execution thereof
- Act as custodian for the business brand and positioning it in line for growth
- Ensuring effective above average customer service
- Conduct presentations at board level to secure contracts / Service Level Agreements (SLA)
