Job Description
ISTA Personnel Solutions South Africa , is in search of a highly organized and detail-orientated Medical Scheduling Coordinator / Agent to join their team in South Africa, working remotely. In this role, you will be part of a call centre and responsible for coordinating medical appointments, managing schedules, and ensuring seamless communication between patients, healthcare providers, and home care teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in medical scheduling.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Working Hours: This role requires you to work EST hours) (This is from 15h00pm - midnight SA time), Mon - Fri. (SA working times are subject to change depending on daylight savings.)
- Internet (fibre): Candidates must possess a fixed fibre line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps for both upload and download, capable of supporting a wired Ethernet connection
- Power backup: Candidates must have a power backup solution to manage loadshedding or power outages.
- Appointment Coordination: Schedule and manage appointments for patients, ensuring that all necessary resources and personnel are available
- Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing updates and addressing any scheduling concerns
- Patient Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments, medical needs, and preferences
- Home Care Coordination: Collaborate with home care teams to ensure that patient needs are met and that all appointments are scheduled in a timely manner
- Problem Solving: Address scheduling conflicts or issues as they arise, finding solutions that work for both the patient and healthcare provider
- Data Entry: Input and update patient information in the scheduling system with precision and attention to detail
- Compliance: Ensure that all scheduling practices comply with relevant healthcare regulations and privacy laws
Skills:
- 2-3 years' experience in scheduling and coordination, preferably within a healthcare or home care services
- Exceptional communication skills
- Must be able to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organized
- Problem solver
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office

Job Description
Join the Cape Town team of one of the largest providers of property marketing and real estate marketing services in the UK to provide scheduling and diary management support for internal photographers based in the UK.
Role requires working UK hours/days. Office based in Woodstock, Cape Town.
You Need
- Solid diary, calendar & appointment scheduling experience in high-volume environments
- Exceptional coordination and influential communication skills
- Motivation to exceed targets for yourself and team
- High level of Customer Service and CRM proficiency
To Do
- Make & manage high-volume outbound calls to book & confirm photography appointments
- Ensure smooth communication between clients, photographers, and Area Managers
- Proactively manage performance, call volumes, appointment conversion rates, and customer satisfaction, implementing improvements as needed
- Quickly resolve scheduling conflicts or customer issues, escalating to Area Manager if necessary
- Apply smart strategies to optimise booking and scheduling processes
- Deliver exceptional service within SLA requirements
