IntroductionUnicare is currently seeking to appoint a Health Zone Consultant that is passionate about customer service. The role will be based at Unicare 24 Hour Pharmacy in Bassonia and will report to the Assistant Floor Manager.
Purpose:
To offer exceptional service to all customers by providing knowledgeable service and basic advice on healthcare, nutrition and supplementation in order to maximise sales and build customer loyalty.
Job Objectives:
· To deliver exceptional customer service through in-store visibility and proactivity to customer needs through knowledge and understanding of health and supplements.
· To consult with customers and provide suitable advice on healthcare, nutrition, herbal remedies and homeopathic remedies.
· To drive healthcare sales in line with targets through promotion of a broad range of brands by cross selling and upselling to increase profitability.
· Provide tailored product recommendations based on individual needs and health concerns.
· To drive stock availability in the healthcare aisles through compliance with stock management principles and procedures in order to drive sales.
· To prevent wastage in own area by adhering to stock rotation principles.
· To prevent stock losses by following all risk management policies and principles.
· To ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within the store in order to create an appealing shopping environment for customers.
· To assist in product merchandising by following the merchandising guidelines and procedures.
· To adhere to all store standard operating procedures.
· To ensure continuity of service by focusing on own development and product knowledge and sharing product information with relief staff.
· Work collaboratively with pharmacists and retail staff to ensure top-tier customer service
Job Related Skills and Knowledge
Basic health, fitness and supplements product knowledge
Basic knowledge of retail store operations principles (stock management, merchandising, risk management)
Good communication and interaction skills
Job Experience:
Essential: Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in a complementary health or wellness role (retail experience advantages)
Strong product knowledge of supplements, herbal and natural remedies
Education:
Matric
Qualification in Natural Health, Naturopathy, Nutrition, or similar

To build and manage a commercially viable clinic through the promotion and delivery of professional, value-adding clinic services in line with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) regulations, Company policies and procedures.
Job Objectives:

IntroductionWe are looking to recruit 1 (One) permanent Stock Admin Controller for Unicare. The role will be based in the Bassonia branch and will be reporting to the Branch Manager.
Job Purpose
This is a strategic leadership role responsible for ensuring stock integrity, optimizing inventory processes, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company SOPs.
Job Objectives:
- To perform accurate, timeous cycle counts to ensure that all products are correctly, accurately packed away into the correct storage locations and that shrinkage is identified and reduced.
- To ensure that accurate records of all stock counting, stock adjustments, stock management and related transactions are obtained and filed.
- To ensure that short dated, expired and damaged products and products that are recalled, withdrawn or to be returned to a supplier are timeously and accurately removed from the warehouse shelves and necessary stock adjustments are completed and to investigate and resolve reports on all suspended lines, short dated stock reports.
- To comply with and meet operational cost containment targets and stipulated cut off times and deadlines
- To perform all stock control or inventory duties as assigned by Management.
- Education :
- Matric / Grade 12 (Essential)
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Management (Advantageous)
Experience :
- Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in stock/inventory management, ideally within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry
