Key Responsibilities
- Take and maintain responsibility for the maintenance, operation and proactive application of financial management tools and reporting systems relevant to the Group businesses and their business environment
- Continually develop appropriate types of financial reports related to the businesses to enable better planning and better-quality decision making and risk management
- Use the Deltek Vision suite software applications as an accounting and reporting platform
- Use the VIP payroll administration software and ESS for leave applications
- Issue statements and invoices to the clients, based on proactive study and understanding of commercial agreements concluded between the companies and their clients
- Regularly review and maintain the Chart of Accounts
- Attend Board meetings of all companies held once every 4 months
- Improve cash flow through efficient and regular invoicing
- Manage inter-company invoicing for the use of shared resources and equipment
- Maintain compliance with SARS, the compensation commissioner and the CIPC in respect of the required regular returns. Assist with the financial documentation of bids, proposals and design competitions as the situation arise.
- Advise the directors on withholding tax provisions in different countries on the African continent, where the company carries out project work and ensure these provisions are priced into bids that are made to international clients

Main Purpose : The Manager : Financial Reporting is responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting function of the Agency, ensuring compliance with the PFMA, GRAP, Treasury Regulations, and relevant accounting frameworks. The role supports the CFO in driving financial governance, audit readiness, strategic planning, and accurate reporting to stakeholders, including National Treasury, the Board, and the Auditor-General of South Africa (AGSA).
Key Performance Areas :Governance and Administration
- Establish and maintain strong internal control systems to ensure the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial information.
