What This Job Can Offer You

As the Global Payroll Policy & Compliance Lead, you will build and own automated compliance tracking frameworks and real-time compliance dashboards, ensuring payroll operations and product development remain aligned with global regulations.

This role is critical in translating complex regulatory updates into actionable insights for Product, Engineering, Payroll Operations, and Risk & Compliance. Your work will ensure compliance is proactively embedded into our payroll systems, mitigating risks, and supporting business growth in an evolving regulatory landscape.

What you bring

  • Extensive experience in global payroll product compliance, employment law, tax compliance, or payroll operations.
  • Strong understanding of global payroll regulations, tax laws, CBAs, and social security policies.
  • Experience in legislation tracking, regulatory intelligence, or compliance implementation across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Proven ability to design automated compliance tracking frameworks and compliance dashboards for real-time monitoring of payroll risks and legislative updates.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience working cross-functionally between Product, Engineering, Payroll Operations, and Risk teams.
  • Highly data-driven, proficient in compliance tracking tools, reporting software, and automation frameworks (e.g SQL, Google Scripts, Notion).
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to analyse legal documents and translate them into clear, actionable product and operational recommendations.
  • Experience in payroll technology or payroll system compliance (a plus).
  • Writes and speaks fluent English
  • It's not required to have experience working remotely, but considered a plus.


Key Responsibilities

Compliance Monitoring & Implementation

  • Design automated compliance tracking frameworks, ensuring proactive identification of legal changes across multiple jurisdictions to ensure all regulatory changes are documented and actioned efficiently.
  • Work closely with Legal and RiskCom teams to monitor and analyse global payroll regulations, including tax laws, employment regulations, CBAs, social security policies, and real-time payroll reporting mandates.
  • Work closely with RiskCom & Ops teams to ensure legislative updates are reviewed and incorporated into payroll operations.
  • Maintain centralised tracking tools and databases to ensure all regulatory changes are documented and actioned efficiently.
  • Work closely with the Product Strategic Lead to ensure regulatory changes are seamlessly integrated into payroll technology and system updates.
  • Provide executive briefings, compliance reports, and stakeholder updates to ensure leadership has full visibility of regulatory risks.
  • Partner with internal risk teams to ensure that compliance tracking aligns with SOC2, GDPR, and other global regulatory standards.


Research & Strategy: Informing Payroll Product Innovation

  • Conduct deep-dive research into complex payroll legislation topics, such as CBAs, employment tax reforms, minimum wage indexing, and social security policy changes.
  • Develop white papers, regulatory summaries, and internal guidance to help teams navigate complex payroll compliance environments.

The base salary range for this full-time position is 47,100 EUR - 52,950 EUR. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location, and our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay for the successful candidate in this role is dependent upon many factors such as location, transferable or job-related skills, work experience, relevant training, business needs, and market demands. The base salary range may be subject to change.

Job Description

Position Title : National Migration Health Physician (Medical Officer) – Health Assessment Programs (3 positions)

Position Grade : NOC

Duty Station : Pretoria, South Africa

Appointment Type : One Year Fixed Term Contract, with the possibility of extension

Closing Date : March 3

Context :

Under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission (CoM) and the direct supervision of the Head of Unit (HOU) and technical guidance by the Chief Migration Health Officer (CMHO), the successful candidate will be responsible for the carrying out the following duties and responsibilities in relation to the Migration Health Assessment Centre (MHAC) in Pretoria, South Africa.

Core Functions / Responsibilities :

  • Ensure the efficient daily operations of the Migration Health Assessment Center (MHAC), in close coordination with the Chief Migration Health Officer (CMHO).
  • Conduct the Pretoria MHAC’s migration health assessment process to fulfil the technical requirements of the resettlement countries in the areas of :

Medical examinations;

  • Imaging;
  • Laboratory testing;
  • TB management;
  • Treatment and referrals;
  • Pre-departure procedures and medical movements;
  • Documentation, certification and information transmission; and,
  • Other technical areas as may be required.
  • Ensure proper identification of refugees and migrants during the health assessment and record all relevant health information in standard forms; ensuring completeness and accuracy of the recorded information.
  • Perform treatment for TB and sexually transmitted infections and provide support to the HIV and counselling activities. Support coordination of TB management to ensure effective TB treatment.
  • Support coordination and provision of immunization and presumptive treatment programmes in full compliance with the technical guidelines and protocols of the resettlement countries. Assist CMHO in monitoring, supervising and educating of staff in the delivery of these programmes.
  • Contribute to and maintain a system of quality improvement for each service area within the MHAC. Undertake quality control activities on a regular basis, including practice observation, desk audits and use of self-assessment tools. Use data analysis and web reporting system to monitor performance indicators. Ensure implementation of the global IOM Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); create and implement Pretoria MHAC specific SOPs for each service area. Ensure proper reporting and management of incidents according to the Guidance Note for Incident Management.
  • Review and outline current mental health screening protocols in HAP operations MHD Pretoria ensuring that all are in line with the receiving countries’ recommendations and technical instructions.
  • Support TB diagnosis, treatment and final clearance related to Migration Health Assessment.
  • Support coordination of Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) for refugees and migrants in South Africa, Angola, Mozambique, Namibia, Botswana and Madagascar.
  • Provide support, advice, and guidance for preparation of medical movements from Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Madagascar. Participate in escort duties.
  • Coordinate with Panel Physicians in Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Madagascar to ensure that Technical Instructions (TIs) of the various programmes are adhered to.
  • Perform quality control on all files received from Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, Namibia and Madagascar and validate them in MIMOSA.
  • Organize systematic collection, processing and analyses of migration health data according to guidelines established by the CMHO. Ensure data quality. Provide periodic, as well as ad-hoc reporting to the CMHO for Migration Health activities.
  • Ensure that all data related to health assessment programmes is appropriately entered to Migrant Management Operational System Application (MiMOSA) and other related databases.
  • Perform such other duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.

Required Qualifications and Experience :

Education

University degree in Medicine from an accredited academic institution with at least four years of professional work experience.

Experience

  • Minimum of four (4) years post-graduation with continuous clinical experience.
  • Valid license to practice within the country is mandatory.

Languages

  • Fluency in English (both oral and written) required.
  • Working knowledge of local languages is an advantage.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced accounting leader to establish and lead a newly created global function focused on accounting standardization, technical guidance, and policy governance. Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance Transformation, this role will be responsible for developing a global accounting policy framework, building a Center of Excellence for technical accounting matters, and providing expert advisory across IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and local GAAPs.

The ideal candidate is a technical expert and strategic thinker who can operate at both the policy and operational level, working cross-functionally with global finance, legal, tax, and audit teams. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global accounting manual to standardize policies and procedures across all regions.
  • Implement a governance model for accounting policy changes and compliance tracking.
  • Partner with regional finance teams and controllers to roll out global accounting policies effectively.
  • Lead a centralized function that serves as the company’s primary resource for technical accounting guidance.
  • Develop best-practice accounting templates, tools, and guidance materials for global finance teams.
  • Provide on-demand advisory for accounting treatments, structuring transactions, and addressing complex financial reporting issues.
  • Conduct technical research and assess the impact of IFRS and local GAAP differences across key jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and maintain technical accounting memos and whitepapers to support conclusions.
  • Monitor updates from IASB, FASB, PCAOB, and local standards to provide training and thought leadership to regional finance teams and senior leaders.
  • Establish an accounting governance framework to ensure policy adherence and consistency.
  • Partner with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and industry bodies to maintain best-in-class accounting standards.
  • Lead quarterly technical accounting updates for the global finance organization.
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration, providing accounting expertise on deal structures and post-merger/divestment accounting considerations.
  • Collaborate with finance transformation teams to enhance reporting efficiencies through technology and automation.

Academic Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification required.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of technical accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate accounting in a multinational organization.
  • Deep IFRS expertise with the ability to research and as well as multiple local GAAP frameworks across regions (e.g., Europe, APAC, Africa, LATAM).
  • Strong track record of developing and implementing global accounting policies in a decentralized or multi-entity business structure.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence decision-making.

Your day at NTT DATA

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced accounting leader to establish and lead a newly created global function focused on accounting standardization, technical guidance, and policy governance. Reporting to the Senior Director, Finance Transformation, this role will be responsible for developing a global accounting policy framework, building a Center of Excellence for technical accounting matters, and providing expert advisory across IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and local GAAPs.

The ideal candidate is a technical expert and strategic thinker who can operate at both the policy and operational level, working cross-functionally with global finance, legal, tax, and audit teams. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future of accounting governance and elevate technical accounting capabilities across a multinational enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive global accounting manual to standardize policies and procedures across all regions.
  • Implement a governance model for accounting policy changes and compliance tracking.
  • Partner with regional finance teams and controllers to roll out global accounting policies effectively.
  • Lead a centralized function that serves as the company’s primary resource for technical accounting guidance.
  • Develop best-practice accounting templates, tools, and guidance materials for global finance teams.
  • Provide on-demand advisory for accounting treatments, structuring transactions, and addressing complex financial reporting issues.
  • Conduct technical research and assess the impact of IFRS and local GAAP differences across key jurisdictions.
  • Prepare and maintain technical accounting memos and whitepapers to support conclusions.
  • Monitor updates from IASB, FASB, PCAOB, and local standards to provide training and thought leadership to regional finance teams and senior leaders.
  • Establish an accounting governance framework to ensure policy adherence and consistency.
  • Partner with external auditors, regulatory agencies, and industry bodies to maintain best-in-class accounting standards.
  • Lead quarterly technical accounting updates for the global finance organization.
  • Support M&A due diligence and integration, providing accounting expertise on deal structures and post-merger/divestment accounting considerations.
  • Collaborate with finance transformation teams to enhance reporting efficiencies through technology and automation.

Academic Qualifications & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent certification required.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.

Required Experience

  • 10+ years of technical accounting experience, with a mix of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate accounting in a multinational organization.
  • Deep IFRS expertise with the ability to research and as well as multiple local GAAP frameworks across regions (e.g., Europe, APAC, Africa, LATAM).
  • Strong track record of developing and implementing global accounting policies in a decentralized or multi-entity business structure.
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries (e.g., financial services, healthcare, technology) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to partner with executive leadership and influence decision-making.

Physical Requirements

  • Remain stationary for long periods of time.
  • Operate computer, peripherals, and other office equipment.
  • Primarily sitting with some walking, standing, and bending.

Your Specific Responsibilities:

This is a professional position in the Special Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC). This position will report directly to the WIC Director. Licensure as a Dietitian in the State of Florida is required for this position. Primary duties are to provide nutrition assessment including the gathering of anthropometric and hematological data and provide nutrition and breastfeeding counseling to clients; assistance and guidance to the clerical and technical support staff of the WIC program and other providers involved in the care and on the provision of services to WIC clients. Duties also may include assisting in the development of Walton County WIC nutrition education materials for client distribution. Duties will be performed at the main clinic site or any other WIC satellite clinic. The person in this position must demonstrate good communication skills, professional ability to work as a team and independently with clients and a high degree of expertise in the educational and training processes. Will be tasked to support and promote excellent Customer Service. Compliance with all standards associated with this position is required, along with adherence to security, integrity, and confidentiality regulations, policies and procedures related to information under the direct control of this position. The incumbent in this position is responsible for the integrity and confidentiality of data sets under his/her control.

Certifies participants for WIC in accordance with federal requirements and Florida Department of Health WIC policies and guidelines. Accurately determines a nutritional/health risk for certification through individual nutrition assessments and evaluations of health data obtained. Provides appropriate WIC food packages to clients based on individually assessed information and current rules in place. Documents all utilizing the SOAP method of Problem Oriented Recording in Florida WiSE. Provides professional nutrition counseling and follow up to clients in accordance with established care plan, nutrition education and breastfeeding promotion requirements in DHM 150-24.

Participates in VENA (Value Enhanced Nutrition Assessment) principles that include critical thinking, open-ended questions, readiness for change and client centered goal setting.

Provides breastfeeding support, equipment, and information. Promotes breastfeeding as the normal and preferred method of infant feeding in WIC clinics, support groups, breastfeeding classes and other locations as necessary. Provides basic breastfeeding information and assists in teaching clients the use of breastfeeding equipment, ie. electric and manual pumps. Will participate with monthly WIC and community breastfeeding classes and promotion; to include WIC staff and WIC peer counselors as time is allotted to help with breastfeeding participation, breastfeeding education and breastfeeding rates for Walton County.

Will provide a structured interaction between the professional and client which assists client to identify concerns or needs by addressing social, emotional, behavioral and environmental issues that affect the client’s well-being. Responsible for the receipt of services, facilitating care and minimizing other obstacles to full participation in prenatal, breastfeeding, child and infant care. Documents all activities appropriately in the FL WiSE System and codes all services accurately into the FL WiSE System adhering to DHM 150-24 and WIC standards and guidelines.

Responsible to work in a laboratory to obtain anthropometric and hematological data. Performs and records accurate measurements (heights/lengths and weights) as needed for certification or follow-up. Uses CDC approved equipment correctly. Will obtain hemoglobin’s as needed (Either invasive or non-invasive where appropriate). Check client’s immunization status in FL Shots and accurately inputs client information into the FL WiSE system. Provides nutrition assessment and appropriate nutrition counseling to medically high-risk clients, high risk clients and low risk clients.

Participates in monitoring QI/QA activities to assure compliance with program guidelines, objectives and regulations. Acts as a role-model to co-workers and other DOH staff. Will help with training of all new CPA staff and breastfeeding staff upon hire for preparation of counseling duties.

Completes all required reports, documentation requirements, requests and assignments correctly and within needed time frames. Functions as a team leader for other positions in the absence of supervisor. Will be cross trained and expected to foster teamwork and assist staff when clinic staffing is short. Attends meetings and participates in Walton CHD committees as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

Employee is responsible for processing invoices for exempt infant formula and WIC-eligible nutritional’s to standards of which comply with Section 215.422, Florida Statutes and Chapter 691-24, Florida Administrative Code.

Required Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:

  • Ability to lift and maneuver lab equipment, supplies and WIC infant formula/nutritional’s up to twenty-five pounds in weight.

  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Preferred CLC License Within Two Years Of Position.
