KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inspect project sites to monitor progress and ensure conformance to design specifications and safety or sanitation standards.
  • Direct construction, operations, and maintenance activities at project site.
  • Direct or participate in surveying to lay out installations and establish reference points, gates, and elevations to guide construction.
  • Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labour to determine project feasibility.
  • Prepare or present public reports, such as bid proposals, deeds, environmental impact statements, and property and right-of-way descriptions.
  • Test soils and materials to determine the adequacy and strength of foundations, concrete, asphalt, or steel.
  • Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications and structural repairs to industrial and managerial personnel.

Requirements:

Role Responsibilities

As an Engineering Intern, you will play a key role in expanding our customer application solution base while actively contributing to the growth of our Profis Engineering customer network. You will provide both technical and administrative support to Hilti's sales and engineering teams, as well as the broader construction project base. This support will include assisting with system administration, identifying and tracking project opportunities, and driving adoption of Profis Engineering within target accounts. Additionally, you will support your respective teams in day-to-day execution, ensuring smooth operations and impactful engagement with customers.

Your responsibilities will include:

· 
Respond to queries through the engineering support platform and provide timely technical assistance.

· 
Proactively identify and qualify Profis Engineering leads, ensuring accurate loading and tracking in the CRM system.

· 
Support pipeline growth by generating quotes, preparing reports, and maintaining high data quality.

· 
Assist with customer support on PROFIS Engineering software and provide design support for anchors, fire protection, and post-installed rebar.

· 
Contribute to pitching the PROFIS Engineering value proposition and addressing customer objections.

· 
Collaborate with marketing teams to align on campaigns and project priorities.

· 
Ensure seamless handover of well-qualified opportunities to Field Engineers or customer success managers.

What you need is:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

· Bachelor's degree in civil structural engineering

· Minimum of 1 year post graduate experience in the construction industry gained either in a design office or on construction projects

· Good knowledge of the construction industry, design and construction process with all relevant technical disciplines associated with Hilti applications/products

· Good analytical skills to identify construction trends to help guide engineering and sales team

· Strong skills in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint

· High performer who has an achiever mentality, career driven, self-disciplined and supportive

· Team player with high ethical values
