We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting our organization's fundraising initiatives, building strong relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners, and driving revenue to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities

·
  Develop and implement strategies to attract new donors, sponsors, and corporate partners.

·   Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with stakeholders.

·   Present and promote fundraising campaigns, programs, and events to individuals and businesses.

·   Conduct meetings, presentations, and networking activities to secure financial support.

·   Meet and exceed set fundraising and sales targets.

·   Maintain accurate records of donor interactions, commitments, and follow-ups.

·   Work closely with the fundraising and marketing team to maximize outreach opportunities.

·   Represent the NPO at community events, conferences, and networking sessions.

Requirements

·
 Proven experience in sales, fundraising, or business development (preferably in the NPO sector).

·   Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

·   Ability to build rapport and maintain strong professional relationships.

·   Target-driven with a strong sense of accountability.

·   Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.

·   Knowledge of fundraising techniques and donor engagement strategies will be an advantage.

Role Overview

As a volunteer Fundraising Officer, you'll support Kwedu in identifying funding opportunities, writing grant proposals, and building partnerships that sustain our climate and youth programmes.


Key Responsibilities

  • Research donor and partnership opportunities
  • Develop grant applications and concept notes
  • Support the team in proposal writing and fundraising strategy
  • Draft donor communication and impact reports
  • Participate in online donor engagement events and campaigns


We're Looking For

  • Strong writing and communication skills
