Responsibilities- Advising employers, employees, and senior executives on a broad range of employment law issues.
- Handling both contentious and non-contentious matters including discrimination, whistleblowing, disciplinary and grievance processes, dismissals, redundancies, TUPE, maternity and paternity rights, and employment tribunal claims.
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and related documentation.
- Supporting corporate transactions with employment law advice.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships across a variety of sectors.
- Contributing to business development initiatives and supporting the wider Employment team.
- A qualified solicitor (or equivalent) with demonstrable experience in employment law.
- Confident managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision.

You’ll be working on a variety of employment law matters, especially cases that fall under our Access to Justice Scheme, which helps clients who might not qualify for traditional No Win No Fee representation.

Key Responsibilities
- Handling new client enquiries and assisting with eligibility assessments
- Helping to draft legal documents such as ‘without prejudice’ letters, schedules of loss, and employment tribunal claim forms, using AI and legal tech
- Communicating with clients and/or respondents under supervision
- Using AI and internal legal tech to manage workflows efficiently
- Participating in regular remote team meetings and legal training
- Undertaking some legal admin work
- Supporting UK solicitors with legal research, correspondence and negotiations
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience as a paralegal, ideally employment law
- Passionate about access to justice and employee rights
- Experience in project work and an understanding of project processes
- Self-employed status and ability to work full-time remotely, with excellent self-organisation
- Demonstrable tech-savviness, including use of AI tools, to improve efficiency
- Excellent written English, spoken English and professional communication skills
- Positive, diligent and reliable team player
- A reliable, proactive and detail-oriented work ethic
Pay and Structure
- Full-time self-employed position
- Pay will be based on local market rates, depending on experience
- 100% remote working, with remote onboarding and training provided
