Decofurn Furniture is one of South Africa’s fastest-growing furniture retailers, with 11 stores nationwide and a strong e-commerce presence. Our Distribution Centre is the heartbeat of our operations, ensuring stock moves efficiently from receipt to dispatch. We’re looking for a Senior Floor Operations Supervisor to take ownership of receiving and warehouse floor operations.

The Role

In this role, you’ll oversee the daily flow of goods into and across the warehouse floor, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company standards. From managing receiving operations to supervising staff, stock integrity, and floor productivity, you’ll play a critical part in keeping our supply chain running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Supervise entire floor operations , making sure products are stored, staged, and handled correctly to support dispatch.
• Lead and motivate a team of supervisors, coordinators, and forklift operators while maintaining high standards of performance.
• Work hand in hand with the receiving supervisor on all inbound operations – ensuring timely, accurate recording and placement of incoming stock.
• Drive inventory control through accurate stock counts, variance investigations, and efficient reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety standards , operational policies, and labour requirements.
• Provide reports and operational insights to management, supporting continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• Diploma/degree in management or receiving operations (advantageous)
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in receiving/warehouse management
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Sage Pastel knowledge (highly advantageous)
• Furniture industry experience (advantageous)
• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
