The Maintenance Manager will oversee the maintenance operations for Solar PV and BESS installations, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. This role involves managing a fleet of maintenance personnel and resources, coordinating maintenance activities, and implementing best practices to maintain high standards of workmanship. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the maintenance and fleet management sectors.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the maintenance fleet and teams responsible for the upkeep of Solar PV and BESS installations.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure regular inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs.
  • Coordinate and manage emergency response to equipment failures and other issues that impact system performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and best practices in all maintenance activities.
  • Expand maintenance to 3rd party operations to extend revenue streams.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians and support staff.

  • Manage team schedules, workload distribution, and resource allocation to ensure efficient operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Renewable Energy, Fleet Management, or a related field.
  • Advanced technical certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably within the renewable energy sector.
  • Knowledge of Solar PV and BESS technologies and maintenance requirements is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing maintenance teams and operations.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in the renewable energy industry.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and tools.
