Our client is seeking an inquisitive and detail-oriented Graduate Business Analyst to join their growing team in **Paarl, Western Cape**. This position is an excellent entry point for individuals passionate about understanding business needs, identifying solutions, and improving processes. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments, documenting requirements, analyzing data, and facilitating communication between business units and technical teams. This role requires strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
  • Create process flow diagrams, use case diagrams, and other modeling artifacts.
  • Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with business users and IT teams.
  • Support the testing and implementation of new solutions.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.
  • Maintain strong relationships with business stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development of business cases and feasibility studies.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business analysis.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to understand and document complex business processes.
  • Familiarity with requirements gathering techniques and documentation standards.
  • Experience with business process modeling tools (e.g., Visio) is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.
  • A proactive attitude and a commitment to continuous learning.
