Duties & Responsibilities- Prepare accurate, comprehensive, and timely management accounts, budgets/forecasts, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with internal processes and controls, as well as accounting standards, statutory audits, and good codes of practice.
- Ensure tax compliance and liaise with the tax authority on any related matters.

- Manage the Finance Department (10 staff) in terms of its human resources, including performance management, training, and development.
- Registered Chartered Accountant with a minimum of 7 years of experience, of which 3 need to have been in a commercial environment at a managerial level.
- Previous experience dealing with multiple operating locations in South Africa and, ideally, experience in other jurisdictions such as Mozambique, Namibia, or Ghana.
- Ability to understand and practically apply financial principles/guidelines, and be up to date with the latest IAS and IFRS developments.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently within a larger team, demonstrating proactiveness and assertiveness.
