Time Allotment: 100% of a full-time position
Position Start Date: September 1, 2025
Role
The successful candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for providing elementary-aged children with a supportive, caring, and Christ-centered learning environment that furthers our school’s mission and vision. Experience using inquiry-based learning approaches, responsive classroom, and restorative discipline are an asset. Candidates must hold a valid teaching certificate.
The ability to communicate effectively, demonstrate flexibility and creativity while working with students, parents and teachers is important. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the staff to help our students flourish. The candidate will effectively incorporate a biblical worldview into all aspects of the curriculum and classroom.
LHCS has a teaching staff of 25 with over 400 students. LHCS offers compensation at 100% of the Edvance/Vocate grid, as well as professional release time and professional collaboration time.
