The Senior Paid Media Executive will report to a Paid Media Account Manager.

Job Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a product-led mindset and a background in paid media, with at least one year of experience actively managing client campaigns. The successful applicant would take full ownership of a number of paid media accounts across various verticals & platforms. You would lead on client contact, reporting, strategy & roadmapping for your clients, with the support of the Account Manager or other senior team members.

Alongside the regular account role, you would work directly with our tech team to develop the Addesu platform. The role would see you identifying pitfalls of existing processes and industry practices, and communicating effective solutions to further the underlying technology that powers the business.

Your role would include:

Performance/management:

  • Daily checks across key clients, recognising and prioritising changes to improve performance.
  • Carry out routine & detailed account audits with clear actionable insights.
  • Support with building & maintaining cross-channel strategy roadmaps for clients, including new platform roll outs, technical changes, dependancies & more.
  • Manage, maintain and balance personal workload via online task tracking software (Notion).
  • Monitor & support team workload, delegating tasks based on priority and team resources.
  • Work alongside other team members on projects and client work.

Client comms:

  • Nurture client relationships, including regular reporting calls & day to day communications.
  • Identify and communicate key next steps required to improve performance.
  • Feedback client based areas of concern for senior leadership attention.

Leadership:

  • Confidently discuss paid media with prospects, partners & clients.
  • Attend and represent Addesu at events when possible.
  • Deliver against team targets, regularly reporting progress back to the senior team.

Technology:

  • Raise tickets for any bugs identified within the Addesu platform, communicating the reproduction steps effectively to the product/tech team.
  • Submit tasks to the tech backlog, and support in prioritising new features to the Addesu platform.
  • At least one year of hands-on experience with running campaigns in Google Ads & Meta Ads. Microsoft Ads and other social platforms are a bonus!
  • To be comfortable leading client communication across calls, emails & instant messaging for select clients.
  • Some experience with strategy & testing planning for clients.
  • To be comfortable using Excel, Sheets or similar data analysis tools.
  • The ability to work independently & remotely where required.
  • Inquisitive mindset when tackling new challenges.
  • An interest in marketing technology & the future of digital.
  • To be a fluent English speaker, with other languages a bonus!
  • Salary reviews every 6 months at a minimum.
  • A quarterly performance bonus.

In this pivotal role, you’ll lead end-to-end talent acquisition across technical, operational, and corporate functions.

Partnering closely with hiring managers and the Executive team, you’ll craft and execute inclusive, values-driven recruitment strategies that attract top talent.

Requirements:

  • National Diploma or bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Industrial Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in full-cycle recruitment, including high-volume, multi-skilled hiring
  • Previous Experience Required
  • Proven ability to manage multiple roles and stakeholders across various teams
  • Strong knowledge of South African labour laws and transformation goals (EE, BBBEE, SDA)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and experience with ATS and HRIS platforms (e.g., BambooHR, Sage 300 and any ATS)
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end recruitment across all Teams– from job requisition to onboarding
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce plans and forecast talent needs (specific team and talent mapping)
  • Write and manage job advertisements, screen CVs, conduct interviews, and facilitate technical assessments when necessary
  • Coordinate panel interviews and final selection processes, especially for technical teams and project-based roles
  • Maintain and update job descriptions and recruitment trackers
  • Source candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, ATS, industry networks, and direct outreach Attend clean energy job fairs, networking events, and industry conferences to build talent pipelines
  • Support hiring managers with interview preparation, role benchmarking, and market insights in collaboration with the Rewards Specialist
  • Work with HC Team and the People Partners and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless onboarding for both head office and site-based employees
  • Maintain onboarding lists and support the handover process from offer acceptance to start date
  • Ensure hiring processes comply with labour laws, POPIA, EE, and internal policies
  • Track and report on diversity, EE metrics, and other recruitment KPIs for the Employment Equity Committee

Responsibilities :

  • End to end recruitment with the relevant hiring manager
  • Draft job advertisements
  • Recruit qualified candidates according to the job specifications, using the relevant recruitment databases
  • Screen and shortlist applicants with the hiring manager, ensuring that applicants meet the minimum requirements
  • Schedule interviews for shortlisted employees along with the hiring manager
  • Schedule all the relevant verification checks for shortlisted candidates, including criminal, credit (where applicable), telephonic reference, qualification and other relevant checks
  • Provide regular updates to the hiring manager on vacant positions
  • Administer and maintain the recruitment database
  • Assist in compiling monthly reports on recruitment stats
  • Represent the company in all forms of communication, maintaining good working relationships and networks with internal and external stakeholders, external suppliers, and clients.
  • Respond to and follow up on all enquiries by email, telephone and personal visits as required.
  • Responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 Certificate NQF 4
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resource / industrial psychology
  • Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of progressive recruitment experience
  • Expert proficiency with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional organisational skills and impeccable attention to detail.
  • A high degree of professionalism in dealing with diverse groups of people, including Board members, senior executives, and staff.
  • Experience in sourcing candidates from LinkedIn, Pnet & other recruitment portals
  • Strong problem-solving, negotiation & influencing skills
  • Strong ability to execute work with a diversity, equity, and inclusion lens.
  • Ability to complete a high volume of tasks and projects with little or no guidance.

    The Talent Acquisition Manager will join our local South Africa People team and work within our international talent acquisition team, report directly to the local People lead you will also have a dotted line to our Global Head of Talent Acquisition. You will own local hiring in South Africa and support international hiring demand when required. You will be a data driven, innovative and passionate recruiter, who wants to continuously raise the bar for how we deliver best in class recruitment practices.

    What will this role look like on a day-to-day basis?

    • Lead full-cycle recruitment processes for diverse roles across Sales, Tech, Product, and Corporate functions, from sourcing to onboarding.
    • Design and implement market and function talent acquisition strategies to meet organizational hiring goals and improve efficiency and quality.
    • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, providing data driven, market specific insights and collaborating on hiring strategies.
    • Analyse recruitment metrics and market trends to optimise talent acquisition processes and inform strategies and decision-making.
    • Leverage AI and other cutting-edge technologies to enhance, sourcing, attraction, assessment, and overall recruitment strategies. Championing our referral scheme to ensure all managers promote their vacancies on social media platforms.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, preferably in a fast-paced, multi-country and high-growth environment.
    • Proven track record of successfully hiring for a diverse range of roles, including Sales, Tech, Product, and Corporate positions.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to improve recruitment processes.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and collaborate with a global team across different countries.
    • Demonstrated experience in utilising AI and other innovative technologies to enhance recruitment strategies and processes.
