An Audio-Visual (AV) Designer creates the technical specifications and designs for AV systems, ensuring they meet client needs and industry standards. This role requires a combination of technical knowledge, design skills, and communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities at an entry / junior level.

· Needs Analysis & Design:

Understanding client requirements and designing appropriate AV systems, including producing detailed design documents, specifications, and documentation.

· Technical Drawings & Documentation:

Creating system diagrams, cable schedules, and other documentation to guide installation and maintenance.

Selecting and specifying appropriate AV equipment, including audio, video, control, and networking components.

Overseeing the installation of AV systems, ensuring proper setup, configuration, and calibration.

Diagnosing and resolving technical issues with AV systems and providing ongoing maintenance support.

Providing training to users on how to operate and maintain the AV systems.
