We are seeking a skilled and motivated
Specialist: Data Engineering
to join our dynamic Financial Services team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in implementing the company's Data Strategy by driving data awareness, engagement, and monetization while ensuring operational excellence across platforms.

This role involves building and optimizing data pipelines, managing data architectures on both on-premises and cloud environments, ensuring data quality and compliance, and supporting Payments & Ecommerce teams with reliable data solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Development & Implementation

  • Implement the Data Strategy to drive customer awareness, engagement, experience, and monetization.
  • Provide input into data monetization aspects of the Business Plan and cascade to OpCos.
  • Drive product revenue growth, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction.

Operational Delivery – Data Platforms

  • Support in developing frameworks and technical architectures for Financial Services innovation.
  • Assist the Payments & Ecommerce team in achieving annual goals.
  • Implement and manage data architectures across multiple platforms (web, mobile, social).
  • Ensure continuous alignment of data platforms with Financial Services strategy and evolving business requirements.
  • Oversee delivery of data platform services and ensure integration efficiency and quality.

Data Engineering

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from multiple data sources.
  • Set up and manage centralized data storage systems and warehouses (e.g., Fabric, PrestoDB, Oracle).

Governance & Reporting

  • Participate in strategic and operational meetings, providing technical guidance.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in

  • Proven experience in

Data Engineering and Architecture Lead
to lead the design, development, and optimisation of our enterprise data ecosystem. This role is responsible for building scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms that power analytics, AI, and operational excellence across Dischem and its affiliated businesses. You will be the architect of our data assets by ensuring that our data infrastructure is not only robust and compliant, but also agile enough to support innovation in healthcare, retail, insurance, and beyond.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
Minimum

  • Bachelor's degree (or the equivalent) in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture, with 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Deep expertise in SQL, Python or/and Spark, Cloud platforms (Azure or AWS) and cloud-native tools (e.g. DataBricks)
  • Proven experience designing, implementing scaling enterprise data platforms using the Medallion Architecture

To ensure that all activities set out by Supervision are undertaken and completed by the Engineering Data Controller, to ensure all databases are completed on time. This includes providing product information, product planning that is controlled/analysed/coordinated, and implemented and completed in time as per the timing plan for new Projects and Model Year Changes.

Provide product support regarding technical information to the company according to the company's worldwide standards. Also to represent the company's forums for MBT/ TI Synchro / KVS / TI-REX / COPS / CoRe/Connect, etc., and interact with the company's counterparts, negotiate and enforce the company's requirements, and create and maintain the Bill of Materials, MBT, and Connect for various projects.

Duties:

  1. Bill-of-Materials Management

  2. Create and maintain BOMs using Technical Product Descriptions and Vehicle PR specifications.

  3. Collaborate with local and international Design Engineers to ensure BOMs reflect accurate design levels.
  4. Coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure material availability.
  5. Represent the company in global forums (MBT, TI Synchro, FAKOM, Connect).
  6. Conduct weekly BOM consistency checks using PASTA and resolve discrepancies.
  7. Prepare TULs and draft statements for change requests (ÄKOs, AWEs, ECRs).
  8. Manage release orders in TI-Synchro and KVS.
  9. Establish prototype vehicle parts lists and BOM databases for "Company" builds.

  10. MBT System Management

  11. Define and manage PR numbers for vehicle projects based on customer specs and technical programs.

  12. Align PR structures with project management, sales, logistics, and product data controllers.
  13. Advise on part validity control procedures and coordinate technical rule incorporation.
  14. Ensure compliance with PR number management standards.
  15. Develop and maintain sales offer programs and assign model keys.
  16. Conduct buildability analyses and support APS (Product Safety Committee) processes.
  17. Perform vehicle comparisons to support SSA market investigations.

Qualification requirements

·   A relevant 3-year Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Logistics, or IT.

Experience needed

5 years of data management experience in an
automotive environment.

    : TIS, MBT, AVON, MBV, KVS, Connect, TI-REX, CoRe, COPS.

A Data Center Engineering Operations Technician role is a hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation responder. Key job responsibilities
SAFETY
Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture.
ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
- Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
- Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
- Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with health & safety regulations).
