Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Senior Manager Enterprise architecture and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

  • Design compelling technology solutions in alignment with the business’ strategic objective and requirements.
  • Define, integrate, and upgrade a comprehensive architecture to support applications, platforms, and databases.
  • Ensure solutions are designed as per business requirements and as per enterprise IT standards; with minimum and agreed variance from functional and technical specifications.
  • Translating business requirements into technical specifications, including data streams, integrations, transformations, databases, and data warehouses.
  • Defining the data architecture framework, standards and principles, including modelling, metadata, security, reference data.
  • To provide modelling, design, development, preparation, implementation and optimization of data.
  • Document security requirements and controls for protecting information, systems, and technology assets.
  • Provide technical / professional support to internal and external stakeholders to ensure achievement of functional and organisational objectives.
  • Build, support and maintain healthy, diverse internal and external relationships (government, authorities and agencies) to ensure achievement of organisational goals. Implement remedial actions where required.
  • Adhere to and ensure adherence to statutory regulations, organisational standards, policies and procedures. Report non-compliance and implement corrective actions to ensure compliance.
  • Plan, schedule, supervise and coach subordinate activities within processes or services to achieve efficiency and quality goals.
  • Assure stable employee relations by managing conflict and creating a positive working environment.

Technical Skills And Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such, will be required:

  • Matric - Essential
  • Bachelor's Degree – Information Technology - Essential
  • Certificate – Recognized architecture framework (e.g. Zachman, TOGAF) - Advantageous
  • 3 years Operational Experience – Data and Transformation architect
  • MS Office - Advanced

What You'll Do:
  • Working with high-performing teams to analyze, evaluate and enhance our clients businesses, including processes, governance, data and technologies
  • Lead our clients and teams on their data journey which includes collaborating on their strategic vision for data, crafting a pragmatic roadmap of initiatives, and aiding our clients in the implementation of these initiatives, aligned to business objectives
  • Ability to drive data governance framework design and facilitate policies and procedures development in line to meet the strategic and regulatory objectives of our clients related to data governance, data management, data quality, data risk management, and data privacy and security
  • Collaborate seamlessly with key senior stakeholders, including business, IT teams and data owners to identify data needs
  • Conduct interviews with clients to perform current state/future state gap analysis and identify the root causes of client’s challenges
  • Drive data culture and data adoption programs for clients who struggle with firmwide understanding of data ROI
  • Establish KPIs related to data quality and data risk, controls, and remediation plans
  • Develop roadmaps to developing data assets and data commercialization
  • Drive program/project management activities including status reporting or maintain RAID logs, and able to conduct scrum meetings for defect / development management
  • Support CrossCountry leadership team on internal projects, including but not limited to the following: sales/marketing initiatives, recruiting, and organizational development
What You'll Bring:
  • 7+ years of relevant experience and track recording delivering transformation programs into CDO, CTO, COO, CFO, and/or CRO organizations
  • Strong strategic planning skills with past experience working with C-Suites executives to build out Organizational Level Strategic Roadmaps
  • Up-to-date on latest industry trends in industry trends and best practices in data strategy and governance
  • Knowledge of industries, including investment banking, broker-dealers, custody, fund administration and investment management
  • Proven leadership roles with strong communication and presentation skills
  • Professionalism and discretion in interacting with executives and clients

  • Work with BI teams and other operational stakeholders to deliver robust services.

Professional Know-how:

Grade 12 / Matric

Knowledge & Experience:

  • At least 2 years’ experience applying data science, preferably in a contact centre environment.
  • Competent in insight, MI, analytical and statistical theories and methods.
  • Strong understanding of statistical analytics, correlation, regression, cluster analysis, standard deviation, etc.
  • Knowledge of MI/BI & contact centre software such as Business Objects, Power BI, Aspect WFM, Avaya Telephony, MS Office.
  • Proficiency with programming tools like Power BI, Azure, Fabric, Snowflake, Python, SQL, R.
  • Excellent Excel skills, including VBA, formulas, and PivotTables.
  • Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex results clearly.
  • Experience in data collation, reporting, and presentation.
  • Data manipulation skills beyond Excel, including SQL.
  • Knowledge of customer satisfaction/loyalty measurement techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills and interest in data analysis and insight.
