Key Performance Areas Chemical Stock Room Management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free chemical storage area at all times.
  • Unpack and store incoming chemical stock in designated areas following proper stock rotation practices.

  • Inspect and replenish chemical levels in 200L and 25L drums regularly.

  • Perform daily alkalinity tests on CBW systems (Garment & Hospitality) and weekly tests on 200kg Milnors; report any deviations.
  • Monthly monitoring of flow rates and alkalinity for Guest Laundry and small washer extractors; replace worn tubes as necessary.
General Quality Assurance
  • Continuously monitor the quality of washed linen and garments throughout the plant and report abnormalities.
  • Ensure machine operators are using the correct wash programs based on classification.
  • Conduct and record regular Reflectometer readings on processed linen.

The Networking Service Delivery Field Support Engineer (L1) is responsible for providing a professional first-line onsite technical support and field engineering service to clients by proactively identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems. Through pre-emptive service incident and resolution activities, this role restores service to clients by managing incidents and seeing them through to an effective resolution. The primary objective of this role is to ensure all requests, process events and resolution incidents result in zero missed Service Level Agreement (SLA) conditions. + Reports and escalates issues to 3rd party vendors if necessary.

  • Conduct scheduled tool inspections on workshop and hand tools.
  • Perform maintenance administrative duties as and when required.

3. Supervision of subordinates:

  • Provide technical support to the site's maintenance team, including apprentices on-site.
  • Ensure work completed is of a high standard.
  • Identification and communication of training needs for subordinates.
  • Mentor apprentices and sign off logbooks.

4. Apply best practice data capturing:

  • Ensure the DMS data and records are accurately recorded and updated when required.
  • Review reports with a view to improving performance.
  • Generate PO requests in DMS.
  • Conduct a monthly stock take to maintain critical parts levels per machine.
  • Required to perform ad-hoc data capturing from time to time.
  • Provide input to assist with continuously improving our reports and procedures

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic knowledge in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Familiar with OSHA and other relevant safety regulations
  • Proficient in the appropriate handling of hazmat
  • Proficient with a wide range of repair equipment, including power tools
