Possible Tasks within this Role
- To create a comprehensive framework for the full and effective implementation of a Sustainability Management System for the automotive company and its Subsidiaries.
- To strengthen sustainability performance by collaborating with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability principles into product development, manufacturing processes, corporate policies, and long-term plant development strategies
- To implement the automotive company sustainability strategy.
- To foster a strong culture of sustainability across the organization by driving continuous improvement and building accountability at all levels as well as active engagement with communities and partners.
- To drive continuous improvement and strengthen business sustainability by generating revenue from production waste streams.
- To strengthen financial position by proactively identifying and leveraging government incentive schemes for which the company qualifies.
- To drive Continuous Sustainability Improvement by strengthening the organizations sustainability performance through accurate and comprehensive non-financial reporting.
- To protect and strengthen the company''s reputation by proactively addressing potential trust issues among internal and external stakeholders.

Essential

Key Responsibilities.
Environmental Social Governance Support:
- Support and assist the development and implementation of the Environmental sustainability initiatives
- Gather, consolidate and analysis of the environmental sustainability data
- Support the delivery of technical activities and projects, including researching and providing technical advice and recommendations
- Support monitoring and measurement of the environmental sustainability performance indicators and reporting
- Conduct visits at stores and warehouse to gather data (i.e. energy use, waste management, use on natural resources)
- Support climate change mitigation and resilience initiatives guided by the ESG strategy
- Facilitate ESG training and awareness programme
- Participate in incident investigations by gathering evidence, assisting with root cause analysis, and preparing reports
General:
- Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
Competencies.
- Knowledge of ESG (Environmental Social Governance)

Role Responsibilities- Implement and, where applicable, certify Zutari’s ISO 9001-based Quality Management System, including sub-systems for major projects, construction procurement, and construction monitoring.

- Compile Zutari’s carbon footprint, annual GRI Sustainability Report, and UN Global Compact Communication on Progress, by exception.
- Qualification and/or proven track record in ISO 9001 (Quality).
- Qualification and/or proven track record in ISO 19650 (Building and Infrastructure Modelling).
- Desirable: Qualification and/or proven track record in ISO 14001 (Environment).
- Desirable: Qualification and/or proven track record in ISO 27001 (Information Security).
- Desirable: Qualification and/or proven track record in ISO 45001 (Health & Safety).
- Desirable: Qualification or familiarity with project management / PMBOK.
- High digital literacy (see below: Computer Competency Requirements).
