Tangent International are urgently looking for a number of Site Engineers (Ericsson Equipment) to work a 3-6 month rolling contracts based in South Africa (Bloemfontein, East London, Port Elizabeth regions)

OBJECTIVE OF THE JOB
Produce Installation Documents for customer projects within GSM, CDMA and other related systems

RESPONSIBILITIES
– Perform site engineering activities according to given methods and rules described in method manuals

AUTHORITIES
– To collect and have access to information necessary for carrying out the tasks related to the actual projects

MAIN TASKS
– Perform checking of material lists in customer contracts and prepare Contract Clarification Request (CCR)
– Coordinate site surveys and customer meetings to determine the most effective layout or configuration for the equipment and also to verify that existing equipment installations conform to the C-Module engineering
– Prepare site investigation report including all collected data and floor plan proposal about the site
– Specify project files (A-pack and B-pack)
– Prepare C-modules on schedule and with high quality levels. C-Modules must be fully able to support both field installation and customer requirements for description of equipment configurations
– Create Allocation Commands
– Perform scheduling, project co-ordination and quality assurance activities
– Ensure that ASP Subcontractors work according to the Engineering Methodology and quality standard
– Coordinate one project team in one customer project
– Assist the development of existing procedures, methods and tools
