Crew Life At Sea is currently recruiting Marine Engineers on behalf of a leading cruise line partner. This rewarding role provides oversight and operation of the ships propulsion, power generation, and auxiliary systems, ensuring the safe and efficient running of all mechanical and electrical equipment onboard. Working as part of the onboard engineering team, the Marine Engineer will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair technical systems, contribute to safety compliance, and support the smooth operation of the vessel in a multicultural, dynamic environment at sea.
All placements are made directly with the cruise line. Crew Life At Sea does not charge any recruitment or placement fees.
Role Responsibilities:
- Operate, monitor, and maintain the ships propulsion systems, generators, boilers, pumps, HVAC, and electrical systems
- Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Stand engine room watch, responding to alarms and monitoring system performance
- Supervise and train junior engineers and engine room ratings
