- Day to day maintenance of equipment
- High-level installation, commissioning, maintenance, and reconditioning of Instrumentation equipment
- Implementation of systems within the Instrumentation environment
- Complete tasks as requested by SAP work orders, notifications, schedules, and defect reports
- Do advanced fault finding
- Accept specific technical responsibilities in terms of plant shutdowns and modifications
- Providing a specialist technical advisory and support function to maintenance and production personnel.

- Grade 12 / N3 / NCV 3 (NQF 4)
- Minimum 2 years advancedknowledge of instrumentation systems and the maintenance of
- Basic knowledge of the requirements of ISO 9000, ISO 14001 an well as OSHAS 18001
- SAP ( MM and PM module ) knowledge and skills as well as good computer literacy skills
- Good knowledge of applicable lockout and isolation procedures
- Good practical technical hand skills
- Performance driven and outcome orientation
- Good knowledge and application of maintenance practices and engineering development skills used within heavy industry
- Candidate must be pro-active and performance driven

Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all industrial and labour relations matters on active construction projects.
• Lead negotiations and engagement with unions, bargaining councils, and worker representatives.
• Represent the company at CCMA, disciplinary hearings, and grievance processes.
• Advise management on IR best practices and ensure labour law compliance.
• Address and resolve workforce disputes, strikes, and IR risks promptly.
• Work closely with HR to support hiring, onboarding, and staff relations from an IR perspective.
• Ensure consistent application of IR policies and maintain accurate case documentation.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience in industrial relations within construction, energy, or EPC sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of South African labour law, union negotiations, and CCMA proceedings.
• Proven track record managing IR issues and workforce conflict on large projects.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
