- Manage the supervisory oversight of the entities supervised by the division, including but not limited to:
- leading and managing the day-to-day supervision of insurers and insurance groups;
- directing the consistent application of appropriate supervisory practices, protocols, tools and procedures to all the supervised entities allocated to the division;
- identifying, assessing and escalating key risks, and reacting to key indicators of risks within the department;
- overseeing the maintenance of the permanent records and correspondence of insurers and insurance group(s) allocated to the division;
- endeavouring to uphold an updated risk rating of the supervised entities under supervision;
- monitoring compliance by the supervised entities with the applicable regulatory framework, which includes prudential standards and regulations.
- Manage the operationalisation and implementation of decision-making frameworks, protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with all the legislative and regulatory requirements of the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).
- Ensure that the risks of the division are identified and assessed, and that risk-effective mitigating measures are implemented.
- Manage the performance and development of direct reports.
- Create a performance culture in the division.
- Coach and manage the career development of employees in the division.

Resumen del Proyecto:Ubicada a 800 km al noreste de Lima, Perú, Yanacocha es la mina de oro más grande de Sudamérica. El Proyecto WTP consiste en dos de las plantas de tratamiento de aguas ácidas más grandes de Sudamérica (la del oeste tendrá una capacidad de 3.000 y la del este 2.700 m3/hora). Actualmente se realizan Trabajos Tempranos en el sitio, preparando las plataformas permanentes y áreas de acopio para las plantas Este y Oeste, además de la estimación Clase 2, programa nivel 3 y el Plan de Ejecución.
Resumen del Puesto:Este rol, será responsable de supervisar y dirigir las operaciones dentro de la disciplina de tanques. Supervisar y dirigir tanques artesanales, supervisores/as subordinados/as y otros/as, según lo asignado. Asegurar que el desempeño de la construcción asignado siga las especificaciones y dentro de los cronogramas y presupuestos.
Principales Responsabilidades:- Inspeccionar el sitio en busca de condiciones y prácticas inseguras y tomar las medidas adecuadas para corregir las deficiencias.
- Hacer seguimiento de las actividades de artesanía para garantizar el cumplimiento de las especificaciones y horarios.
- Ser responsable del costo, el cronograma y la optimización de la mano de obra artesanal y del mantenimiento del cronograma general de construcción, los cronogramas de 90 días y cuatro semanas anticipan la mano de obra y el equipo.
- Revisar los registros de tiempo de las embarcaciones utilizando herramientas automatizadas establecidas.
- Preparar solicitudes de materiales para herramientas y consumibles y coordinar a través de adquisiciones para obtener estos materiales.
- Planificar la mano de obra y el equipo necesarios para ejecutar el trabajo.
- Preparar informes y pronósticos, incluido un resumen del progreso de la construcción, pronósticos de personal artesanal y pronósticos de gastos.
- Realizar revisiones de empleados/as e identificar oportunidades de capacitación y desarrollo para el personal subordinado/a de tanques.
- Coordinar actividades con otros/as superintendentes/as disciplinarios/as o superintendentes/as de área y representantes residentes clientes, según sea necesario para cumplir con los objetivos del proyecto.
Requiere 10 años de experiencia demostrada en supervisión de construcción de tanques.
Conocimientos y habilidades requeridas:- Experiencia trabajando en un entorno de construcción de campo entendiendo especificaciones, procedimientos de proveedores, instrucciones y códigos con conocimiento práctico de API-650.
- Conocimiento de procesos de soldadura como SMAW, FCAW, SAW y el uso de Soldadoras Automáticas de Circunferencia, Tractores Planos y máquinas automatizadas de aislamiento.
- Conocimiento de grandes grúas sobre orugas, grúas torre, SPMT y programas de elevación pesada.
- Conocimientos técnicos de equipos y herramientas de construcción de tanques y conocimiento de los requisitos para el etiquetado Lock Out.
- Experiencia en construcción de contratación directa industrial pesada acorde con el tipo de trabajo a realizar.
- Conocimientos informáticos en procesamiento de textos, hojas de cálculo y aplicaciones de bases de datos.
- Capacidad para trabajar con empleados/as multinacionales y en diferentes idiomas y capacidad para capacitar a miembros del equipo con menos experiencia y brindar tutoría a otros/as. Competente en inglés.
- Estar dispuesto/a a trabajar en un horario flexible según sea necesario que puede incluir, entre otros, turno nocturno o turno dividido.
