Role Purpose/Business Unit

  • 3 – 5 years’ relevant experience in FMCG application development (essential)
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Software Development, IoT / FMCG system development

  • Identify potential new clients and overall growth of the Johannesburg employees’ tax and expatriate tax business.
  • Develop and build good client relationships
  • Financial portfolio management including WIP management, billing and cash collection
  • Research, read and interpret applicable legislation in order to appropriately draft advice to clients on various employees’ tax and expatriate tax issues
  • Ensuring compliance with our risk management procedures
  • Overseeing the tax compliance process on your portfolio of clients where necessary, review work performed by junior staff and provide on the job training
  • Generate work by capitalising on client relationships and identifying sales opportunities
  • Contribute effectively towards the department's growth and profitability
  • Promote and live the team values
  • Present technical training topics
  • Performance manager to allocated staff

Qualifications & Experience

  • Higher Diploma in Tax or Honours in Taxation
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a senior manager in the employees’ tax and expatriate tax consulting environment
  • 5 years management experience in an advisory environment
  • Expatriate tax compliance experience advantageous

Skills and Behavioural Attributes

  • A high standard of client management skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. Independent thinker. Good report writing ability.
  • Computer literate: a good working knowledge of Word and Excel.
  • Able to manage and oversee a team, including development of individual team members
  • Manage and oversee client deliverables deadlines.

  • Ability to work on your own, a team player.

About You

Responsibilities
  • Lead a Mobility Sales team of Account Executives focused on acquiring new business, with account management and returning clients as part of the sales motion.
  • Attract, hire, and retain high performing talent with an aptitude to learn and grow.
  • Drive a high performance, high accountability culture to achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
  • Coach, manage, and develop sellers with an emphasis on continual learning and skill-gap improvement.
  • Develop processes that scale and drive consistent execution across the team in your territory.
  • Actively monitor sales pipeline, activity & forecasts to proactively adapt to changing conditions.
Requirements
  • 3+ years leading a team of Account Executives with demonstrated success in a transactional, short sales-cycle and competitive markets.
  • Ability to identify areas of opportunity, recommend solutions, take ownership of implementation and/or project management of sales initiatives.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business by sharing insights, the root causes behind changes in KPI’s, the frequency and impact of these root causes and your recommendations to double down or course correct as needed.
  • Analytical Sales Leader with strong experience using data to drive decision making.
  • Ability to communicate complex information and processes in a streamlined, easy-to-understand fashion.
