We are hiring Electrical Technicians from around the world to work on construction projects across various cities in Germany. Job Responsibilities
- Installation of electrical lines from scratch in new buildings (construction sites, workplaces, commercial buildings)
- Construction electricity setup and industrial wiring
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Read and interpret technical diagrams and plans
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other technicians
Requirements
To be considered for this role, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Education:
- Graduate from vocational or technical high schools in electrical/electronics departments, OR
- Graduate of an Electrical and Electronics Engineering program
- Applicants without a relevant degree will be rejected.
- Work Experience:
- Detailed job descriptions must be included in your CV, clearly stating previous positions, companies, and tasks performed
- Incomplete CVs or vague experience sections will be rejected
- Language:
- Basic German language training is mandatory for non-German speakers
- Free one-month training is provided during the recruitment process
- Ongoing language training is provided after employment begins

Preferred Qualifications
- Holding a diploma equivalence (nostrification) from Germany (not mandatory)

- The company covers the upfront €600 cost; employees repay €00/month for the first three months after employment

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer. The Electrical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and renewable energy systems installed at client sites. This includes fault finding, preventative and corrective maintenance, performance monitoring, and ensuring system uptime. The role will also involve coordinating with project and operations teams to ensure reliable performance of energy solutions across Southern Africa.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform regular inspections, testing, and maintenance of electrical and renewable energy systems (solar PV, metering, battery storage, etc.).
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve electrical issues in installed systems.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
- Prepare maintenance reports and update technical documentation.
- Collaborate with project engineers and technicians for system upgrades and improvements.
- Provide technical support to clients and assist with training where necessary.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in electrical system maintenance, preferably in renewable energy, industrial, or utility environments.
- Strong project planning and coordination abilities
- Knowledge of renewable energy technologies
- Problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Relevant certifications or degrees in Engineering or a related field
