About the Role
In this role, you'll be instrumental in developing and implementing machine learning models from the ground up. Working USA business hours (EST), you'll collaborate with a cross-functional team to solve complex problems, build insightful dashboards, and apply innovative algorithms that drive decisions in a healthcare context.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement machine learning models using Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, AutoML, and other techniques

• Conduct in-depth data analysis and feature engineering to improve model accuracy

• Validate and clean data for model readiness

• Present insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders

• Collaborate with teams to embed models into existing systems and workflows

• Design and develop dashboards using Python libraries such as Dash, Streamlit, Panel, and Bokeh

• Deliver ongoing reports on model effectiveness and business value

• Apply ML methodologies to healthcare-specific use cases

What You’ll Bring

• 1–2 years’ experience building and deploying machine learning models

• Strong problem-solving and programming skills

• Proficiency in Python, especially for data analysis and dashboard creation

• Knowledge of ML algorithms like Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, and AutoML

• Ability to articulate model development processes, feature engineering, and methodologies

• Background in data science or engineering; healthcare experience is advantageous

Nice to Have

• Experience with actuarial analysis

This role works closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), instructional designers, and platform teams to develop SCORM-compliant content that supports our global leadership and professional development curriculum. The ideal candidate will have both technical expertise and a strong sense of learner engagement and experience.

Key Responsibilities

Content Development & Design

• Develop SCORM-compliant e-learning modules, including learning content, interactive activities, and assessments.
• Translate SME-provided material into visually engaging, instructional content aligned with learning objectives.
• Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices in all learning solutions.
  
  

• Create and test SCORM packages to ensure accurate functionality within the global LMS (e.g., Thrive).
• Ensure SCORM compatibility with tracking, reporting, and learner progress functionality.
• Upload and manage content within the LMS, ensuring correct metadata, tagging, and categorization.
  
  

• Optimize content for desktop, tablet, and mobile use to ensure a consistent and responsive learner experience.
• Conduct rigorous QA testing for usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical or integration issues related to SCORM content.
  
  

• Collaborate with instructional designers, SMEs, and other internal stakeholders to ensure content meets design, learning, and branding standards.
• Participate in learner feedback loops to improve content and the overall digital learning experience.
• Stay current with industry best practices, accessibility standards, and evolving learning technologies.
  
  

• 2-4 years of experience designing and developing e-learning content.
• Proven proficiency in e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Captivate, Adapt).
• Strong understanding of SCORM standards, LMS functionality, and digital content workflows.
• Experience uploading and managing SCORM files on learning platforms (experience with Thrive is a plus).
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS/JavaScript for content customization or troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to learner engagement and content quality.

• Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with multimedia content integration.

Leading financial services client seeks a Learning Material Developer/Instructional Designer (OneStream Implementation) for a 12-month contract based in Cape Town.

• Develop and maintain OneStream training material (all types of media) as required.
• Document learning material (user guides, quick reference guides, recorded sessions) of user training in preparation for the OneStream implementation.
• Consolidate processes, data flows, and technology scope to produce results, planning, budgeting and forecasting, tax reporting, and finance allocation processes.
