General Responsibilities:

  • Being in charge of the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies (consisting of email campaigns, SMS campaigns, pop-ups, and flows) for your assigned clients (meaning that you’ll be managing about 40 unique marketing campaigns per month)
  • Ensuring that the needs and expectations of your assigned clients are managed and met
  • Working to improve the results from email marketing for your assigned clients
  • Collaborating with team members to respond to client requests promptly
  • Working alongside a team of experienced marketing professionals productively and harmoniously to ensure that the highest quality marketing campaigns are delivered to our clients
  • Continuously staying in contact with your assigned clients, including leading and attending regular meetings with your clients
  • Collecting and analyzing data to understand the consumers’ demographics and trends to forward the clients' marketing agenda and drive better results, setting new goals weekly
  • Regularly reporting on the performance of the email marketing campaigns for your assigned clients, including reporting on aspects like revenue from email marketing, best-performing campaigns, results from A/B testing, and the measures taken to improve and optimize client revenue
  • Working with the Service Department to maintain high work standards and ensuring that the set targets for your assigned clients are met in terms of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Keeping a tight grip on client churn (especially for your assigned clients), and implementing strategies to prevent clients from leaving the company, with the assistance of the Service Director
  • Troubleshooting and assisting with any issues related to clients’ satisfaction and the performance of marketing campaigns as developed and executed by our team
  • Being able to effectively and productively work with any type of client with minimal supervision
  • Working on various tasks as part of the team of Account Managers
  • Participating in the Account Managers’ group calls
  • Participating in the training and skill-building sessions for Account Managers within the Service Department to improve their skills, performance, and overall expertise
  • Acting as a liaison between clients and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of new services and products offered by Hustler Marketing
  • Continuously working to identify new opportunities to expand services offered to clients through regular communication and relationship building

About You: Profile:

The ideal candidate must be someone with extensive working experience in managing client accounts effectively, as well as experience in email marketing. Such experience should include managing a team consisting of marketing professionals (such as Account Managers’ Associates, Designers, Copywriters, and other team members) to deliver marketing campaigns that are focused on driving sales.

The Account Manager must be able to act swiftly upon receiving urgent requests from clients and must be able to work consistently with high levels of accountability.

The right person will be professional and also have considerable leadership and managerial experience, as well as strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and internal teams. Having been an Account Manager before, or having any agency experience is a great advantage.

Familiarity with various tools such as Slack, Hubstaff, Asana, Klaviyo, and Google Workspace Suite is a must for this role. The candidate should also feel comfortable working in a remote environment. Availability, accountability, professionalism, responsiveness, and consistency are highly important factors for us, so the Account Manager should display these qualities when it comes to workload commitments and general availability during office hours.

  • Performance Media Strategy: Contribute to the brand's growth through 360° digital media strategy planning, execution, and reporting. Coordinate digital media budgets to plan and execute performance marketing campaigns across channels to support business objectives. Work with the local digital team and agencies to optimize paid search, and performance max and assist with all PPC ad copy creation and keyword strategies.
  • Website Management: Premium execution on e-commerce site through: full ownership of content management; maintenance; product listings; promotional engine and measurement. Ensure online store functionalities are fully optimized for customer experience and conversion.
  • SEO and Analytics: Implement SEO strategies to increase visibility and share of search. Complete performance reporting and keyword research to identify trends, insights, and areas of improvement in branded and generic search terms.
  • CRM Strategy and Execution: Grow ghd’s active database through effective strategy execution and CRM management, with a focus on personalization and value creation for customers. Develop and build local e-mailers, segment custom audiences and proofread for 100% accuracy, brand relevance and customer resonance.
  • E-commerce Partner Sites: Manage digital content of Selected E-commerce Partners to ensure brand alignment. Execute new product listings, catalogue management, optimizations and on-site display advertising.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop strategies to enhance user experience, improve customer engagement, and drive retention through various digital channels.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in digital content writing, with a strong portfolio of blog articles and web content. (please be prepared to share content portfolio if you make it to interview)
  3. Excellent command of the English language, with exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  4. Proficiency in WordPress content management system (CMS).
  5. Sound knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and on-page optimisation.

Position Overview:

As a Senior Online Marketing Executive specialising in Content Optimisation, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company’s businesses by creating and optimising digital content for SEO growth.

Your primary responsibility will be to support the Digital Leads and Businesses to have a strong monthly blog strategy and ensure internal and external content is delivered in a timely manner, aligning with strong SEO-related content and the respective tones of voice for each brand.

Secondary to this is ensuring new on-page content is improved from Content Audits conducted by our technical audit team.

Working closely to support the digital leads to ensure new content created on-page is correct, makes sense, and improves SEO visibility for the websites. As an experienced digital content writer, you will be adept at understanding briefs, conducting research, and incorporating SEO best practices.

This role is integral to the expansion of our digital marketing content growth strategy for 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation and Optimisation:
    • Develop a content plan strategy with the Digital leads for each business.
    • Write engaging and informative blog briefs for externally written blogs for multiple client businesses, and create additional briefs for internally written blogs.
    • Ensure that the new content is optimised for search engines and adheres to best practices in SEO.
    • Support Digital Leads to perform keyword research and analysis to incorporate relevant keywords into the content.
    • Adapt your writing style and tone of voice to match the requirements of each business.
  2. WordPress Management:
    • Demonstrate a high level of proficiency in WordPress, including content creation, formatting, and publishing.
    • Upload and manage blog content, ensuring proper categorisation, tagging, and metadata optimisation for SEO.
    • Collaborate with the web development team to ensure a smooth user experience.
  3. Project Management and Campaign Briefs:
    • Prioritise and schedule content creation tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate campaign briefs.
    • Demonstrate excellent project management skills, ensuring that content production stays on track.
  4. Landing Page Content for Nurture Journeys:
    • Work closely with the Email Marketing Team to develop persuasive landing page content.
    • Apply your understanding of customer segmentation and buyer personas to craft personalised content.
    • Collaborate with the digital team to ensure that the landing pages are visually appealing and optimised for lead generation.
  5. Continuous Improvement and Strategy:
    • Stay informed about the latest industry trends, content marketing strategies, and SEO techniques.
    • Provide recommendations for content optimisation based on performance analysis and user feedback.
    • Contribute to the development of the digital marketing strategy for the client.

WEB-BOX provides websites and online marketing solutions to real estate agencies.

With over clients nationally, we have established ourselves as a major player in this market.

Our online marketing department offers Facebook, Google Search, Display, Remarketing ads, Google My Business, and custom SEO products for our estate agency clients. We are looking for a Head of Online to manage this department.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Head of Online will be responsible for managing the online marketing department and supervising the Online Marketing Assistant.

Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the online department and coordinate tasks to optimise performance and streamline processes.
  2. Ensure that the online products we provide to our clients are of a high standard.
  3. Manage KPIs, grow department revenue, expand the client base, and manage client expectations.
  4. Manage Facebook and Google clients, including setup and optimisation of accounts.
  5. Provide training on Google products as needed.
  6. Oversee online marketing of WEB-BOX's own products (Facebook, GMB, Instagram).
  7. Allocate and delegate tasks to the Online Marketing Assistant.
  8. Coordinate billing and manage financial aspects of marketing campaigns.
  9. Produce monthly reports analysing campaign performance, insights, and recommendations.
  10. Assist support and sales teams as needed.
  11. Drive online marketing sales campaigns with the sales team.
  12. Schedule and conduct weekly marketing meetings.
Requirements:
  • Experience with Meta Business Suite, Canva, Facebook Ads.
  • Experience in customer service and team management.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail.
  • Innovative and creative mindset.
  • Problem solver with an interest in online internet marketing.

This role requires a minimum of 4 hours per day during office hours, with a hybrid working model.

Salary range: R10,000 - R25,000 per month (negotiable).
