The main purpose of this position is to lead, coordinate, and integrate information management practices and business processes within the Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Centre of Excellence (CoE) to support reliable and effective decision-making.
Responsibilities :
- Take responsibility for business-as-usual (BAU) resource planning and management to ensure the effective delivery and business continuity to balance demand and supply for work completed by various projects.
- Establish and lead the data management working groups in the various departments.
- Lead the development and maintenance of the EIM Service Catalogue.
- Monitor, measure, and manage the service level agreements associated with approved EIM service requests.
- Determine and identify data management deliverables, resources, and skills requirements as well as data-related technologies to meet business demands and associated budgets.
- Drive the improvement of data management literacy within the organisation by ensuring the development and training of stakeholders.
- Develop business continuity and recovery plans for implementation during outages and disasters.
- Establish and lead the EIM Change Advisory Board to manage and evaluate data-related changes across the organisation.
- Manage and coordinate the overall Data Management Maturity assessment against best practices.
- Coordinate and manage the development of standards, frameworks, guidelines, processes, and procedures across the various data management capabilities.
- Develop and manage stakeholder relations effectively to promote data management awareness across the organisation and support reliable decision-making.
- Provide integrated reporting in relation to EIM operations including, but not limited to, governance structures, projects, demand management, and BAU.
Requirements :
- An honours degree (NQF 8) in Informatics, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Computer , or a related field of study or an equivalent qualification.
- A relevant data management certification (e.g., CDMP Practitioner) will be an added advantage.
- 8 to 10 years of experience in the field of data and information management.
- Business intelligence software such as MicroStrategy, Pyramid, OBISS, Microsoft Power BI.
- ETL development and maintenance with SSIS, IBM DataStage, Oracle ODI, PL / SQL & T / SQL stored procedures, and complex SQL queries.
- Deployment of big data environments (e.g., HADOOP, SPARK, NoSQL, Informatica, SAS, ERWIN, and Teradata).
- Continuous learning and / or professional development.
- Quality assurance.
- Enterprise information management legislation, governance, risk, and compliance.

Scope and Scale of the role
- Setup the project EDMS and CDE with the support of the Quality Manager and Digital Construction department representative. Create Workflows, digitize form and submittal processes aligned with the project requirement, and meet the Client representative to achieve correct system setup and communication flows.
- Setup and manage Commercial Systems and field Systems.
- Control and track the information in the project Common Data Environment (CDE) and Electronic Document Management System (EDMS) to ensure information is correctly managed and distributed (downstream and upstream) between the client systems and the project’s.
- Review document formats and QA Checks as per project requirements, download, upload, archive, and distribute the information and manage them accordingly.
- Maintain the necessary trackers and reporting to the project team.
- Manage Document Controller(s) reporting to them.
- Support and lead Quality-related questions in Tenders and Pre-Qualification when required.
- Support Innovation initiatives, raise new opportunities, and lead when required.
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for setting up the EDMS and CDE system in the project.
- Correctly set up digitized forms, Workflows, and submittal processes embracing the project CDE.
- Comply with project requirements and ISO19650 requirements when applicable to the project.
- Prepare projects or the organizational Document Control procedures and deliver training.
- Responsible for controlling the numbering, filing, sorting, and retrieval of electronically stored or hard copy documentation produced by technical teams in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.
- Provide EDMS support for projects and departments.
- Conduct QA document checking.
- Manage the administration of EDMS (Workflows, access rights, distributions, etc.).
- Assist in preparing and managing documentation internally/by subcontractor.
- Train project personnel in using the system and document control procedures.
- Asset Integration (NOT ESSENTIAL):
- Coordinate the compilation of assets registers and H&S Files.
- Register key assets to Asset management systems (e.g., Maximo, Sales Force, Excel, or others) and run required reports for PM to raise visibility of assets delivered/installed and scheduled/planned for delivery.
- Liaise and coordinate with the site team for the production of handover asset information documentation.
Qualifications:
- Evidence of applicable system admin courses completed of: Asite and SharePoint.
Experience:
- Substantial experience in Document Control duties.
- Experience in multiple handovers and design submissions successfully.
- Experience of managing/mentoring/supporting the development of 1 or more document controllers (or similar role).
- Understanding of ISO19650.
Knowledge/Ability:
- Advanced knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF professional.
- Experience using Asite, Dalux, ProjectWise, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Procore, and/or other project-required systems, along with good knowledge of SharePoint and overall MS Office applications: MS Forms, Power Automate, etc.
- Ability to manage time and several tasks, and prioritize correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop the IT strategy

A trusted and well-established client of ours in The Middle East is seeking an experienced Management of Information and Communication Director (IT Management).
The Management of Information and Communication Director provides functional management and operational supervision of information and communication technology and related services.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensures appropriate information and communication technology implementation and support for medical, business, and clinical systems by managing and coordinating applications development/maintenance, data processing, local/wide area network administration, office automation, and technical support activities.
- Leads the hospital-wide information technology strategic planning activities; identifies and defines short and long-range automated system requirements; coordinates departmental input and technology planning processes; develops and recommends organization-wide information technology goals, objectives, and priorities.
- Analyzes and assesses current and proposed information technology plans; directs, oversees, and manages the development, design, implementation, and maintenance of automated information systems to ensure the achievement of strategic technology requirements and needs.
- Monitors and evaluates the efficiency and effectiveness of the hospital information technology methods and procedures.
