Key duties and responsibilities

- End-of-shift duties: Handle payments, complete side work, and prepare for the next service.
- Professionalism: Maintain a polished appearance and a graceful, professional demeanor at all times, avoiding noise and haste.
- Team coordination: Collaborate with kitchen, bar staff, and other servers to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Maintenance: Ensure the dining area is clean, organized, and adheres to all health and safety regulations.

We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Hostess to join our team for three (3) days a week, 10 hours a day. You must be able to speak English fluently. The Restaurant Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for providing a warm welcome and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Shift Schedule:
- Three days a week, between Monday to Sunday: 11:00 to 21:00.
Compensation:

Responsibilities:
Greet guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a friendly and welcoming demeanour.
Show guests to their tables and present menus.
Manage the seating chart to ensure efficient table turnover and proper distribution of guests across sections.
Assist guests with any special requests.
Answer phone calls and take reservations, providing accurate information about availability and restaurant policies.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation at the hostess station and lobby area.
Collaborate with the waitstaff and management to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally and escalate issues to management when necessary.
Assist with printing and updating menus as needed, ensuring an adequate supply of menus is available for guests.
Qualifications:
At least one (1) year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Professional appearance and demeanour.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
